고등학교 수학과 교육과정에서 금융소양 교육의 방향성 탐색: Jump$tart에 제시된 금융소양 규준을 중심으로

국문 초록

금융소양은 현대 사회를 살아가는데 필수적인 요소로 수학과의 연계를 통해 학교 교육을 출발점으로 해야 한다. 미국은 1998년부터 금융소양 교육을 위한 교육과정을 개발하고 연구하고 있으며 현재 금융소양을 위한 국가수준의 교육과정인 jump$tart 를 운영하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Jump$tart(2017)에 제시된 금융소양 함양을 위한 고등학교 수준의 성취기준을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 2015 개정 고등학교 수학과 교육과정의 진로선택 과목인『경제수학』에서 제시 한 성취기준을 검토하고 고등학교 수학교육에서 금융소양을 높이기 위해 어떻게 적용 할 수 있는지 살펴보았다. 또한 금융 생활과 생활 설계에 관한 체계적인 교육과 학교 현장에서 수학과 교육과정을 통해 구현할 수 있는 금융소양 교육의 시사점에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Financial literacy is an essential element in living a modern society and the school education should be the starting point of education through linkage with mathematics. The United States has been developing and researching financial literacy courses since 1998, and currently operates the Jump$tart, a national level curriculum for raising financial literacy. In this study, we analyze the financial literacy standards presented in Jump$tart(2017) at the high school level. Based on this, we examine the achievement criteria presented in Economic Mathematics , which is a career choice course of the 2015 revised high school mathematics curriculum, and explore how it can be applied to raise financial literacy in high school mathematics education. In addition, the systematic education on financial life and life design are discussed and implications of financial literacy education which can be implemented through mathematics curriculum at the school site.
