국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생들이 인식하는 진로역량에 대한 중요도와 실행도에 유의미한 차이를 알아보고 대학생들이 인식하는 진로역량에 대한 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)에서 사분면에 위치하는 요인과 항목을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 4년제 S 대학교 학생 450명을 대상으로 2017년 12월 1일부터 12월15일까지 2주간에 걸쳐 설문조사를 실시하였고, 417부를 분석에 활용하였다. 연구방법은 대학생들의 진로역량의 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)을 활용하였고, 중요도와 실행도 차이를 검증하기 위해 t-검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 진로역량에 대한, 모든 요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 진로역량 구성요인 IPA 분석 결과는 우선적으로 개선이 필요한 중점관심 요인으로 진로관리 요인이 나타났으며, 현상유지 필요 영역은 자기성찰, 진로탐색 요인이 포함되었다. 초과달성 영역에 포함된 요인은 자기표현이었으며, 우선순위가 낮아 점진개선이 필요한 영역에는 네트워킹이 포함되었다. 중요도는 높으나 실행도가 낮은 중점관심 영역에 대한 실행노력이 시급하다. 특히 중점관심에 포함된 항목은 진로관리를 위해 구체적인 실천계획 수립, 변화 능동적 대처, 진로목표 지속적 검토를 위한 진로교육에 반영하는 것이 필요하다는 것을 이러한 연구를 통해 확인하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study set out to examine significant differences, if any, in the importance and performance of career competencies perceived by university students and analyze factors and items in the quadrant of importance-performance analysis(IPA) for the career competencies perceived by them. For these purposes, the study conducted a survey with 450 students at S University in Seoul from December 1, 2017 to December 15, 2017 and 417 were used for analysis. As for methodology, it used IPA for their career competencies and carried out t-test to test differences in importance and performance. The findings were as follows: first, there were significant differences in all the factors of career competences; second, the IPA results of components of career competencies show that career management was a factor that required initial improvement and intensive interest. Self-examination and career search were found in the area that needed to maintain status quo. Self-expression belonged to the area of over-achievement, and networking was in the area that was low in priority and needed gradual improvement. These findings raise a need for efforts to reflect career management, which was the area of intensive interest with high importance and low performance, on career education actively. The present study is significant in that it provided basic data to identify the priority of career competencies in education for career education and program development in college and proposed policy directions for the realization of learner-centric career education.
