국문 초록

본 연구는 응집성을 분석하는 도구로서 최근에 개발된 TAACO를 사용하여 2014 학년도 개정 이후 실시된 중등 영어 임용시험의 지문을 분석하고자 한다. 2014학년도 이후에 시행된 중등 임용 영어시험의 지문을 코퍼스로 구축하여 선행 정보 (Givenness), 문장 중복(Sentence Overlap) 및 단락 중복(Paragraph Overlap), 연결사 (Connectives) 측면에서 중등 임용 영어시험에서 나타나는 영어교육, 영어학, 영미문 학, 일반영어 영역 별 차이를 알아보고자 한다. 그 결과로 영어교육 영역을 제외한 다른 영역에서 모두 높은 응집성을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 세부적으로 영미문학, 일반영어와 영어학 지문이 가진 응집성의 유형이 다름을 알 수 있었다. 중등 임용 영어 시험에서 나타나는 응집성 양상을 파악하고 이를 통해 영역 별 차이에 대한 의미 있는 정보를 제공할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to analyze the Secondary School English Teacher Recruitment Exam of Korea using the Tool for the Automatic Analysis of Cohesion (TAACO) which is a useful instrument to analyze text cohesion. Analytic criteria of Givenness, Sentence and Paragraph overlap, Connectives will be the basis of text analysis by inspecting all of the texts and the differences of recruitment exam: English education, English Linguistics, English Literature and general English. The result shows that three fields have high cohesion except for English education. However, the aspects of cohesion in the field of English Literature and General English are different from those in the English Linguistics. The findings provide useful information in creating the text for questions to make the test more reliable.
