국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 음악 교과서의 정보시각화에 대한 문제점을 진단하는 분석 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 인쇄 매체인 음악 교과서를 핵심적인 교수ㆍ학습 자료로 사용하는 현재의 학교 상황은 일상적으로 감각적인 멀티미디어를 통해 정보를 습득하는 학생들과 간극을 보이고 있으며, 이 간극을 줄이는 방법은 음악 교과서를 통해 정확하고 효과적으로 정보를 전달 할 수 있는 구체적인 방법을 고안하는 것이 가장 현실적이라고 판단하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 정보시각화 분석에 대한 여러 연구들과 저서를 고찰하여 음악 교과서의 정보시각화를 분석하기에 적합한 모형을 개발하였다. 분석 모형의 대상은 음악과 교육과정을 토대로 추출되었고, 분석의 범주와 준거는 선행 연구들의 적합성을 검토하여 설정하였다. 이 분석 모형은 첫째, 정보 내용에 따른 시각화 분석, 둘째, 정보시각화의 기능 분석, 셋째, 정보시각화의 유형 분석의 세 가지 범주로 나누어진다. 그리고 각각의 범주는 5개에서 7개의 하위 준거를 포함한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop analysis models to examine problems on information visualization of music textbooks in South Korea. Schools still depend on conventional music textbooks, printed media, as their fundamental teaching tools while students obtain information through an array of sensory media on a daily basis. In order to bridge the gaps between the real education environments and students’ expectations, it will be the most realistic to come up with concrete ways to convey information to students accurately and effectively through music textbooks. For these objectives, I studied a variety of books and research on analysis of information visualization and developed appropriate models to analyze information visualization of music textbooks. Subjects of this analysis models were extracted from the national music curriculum of middle school and the categories and criteria were set up through preceding research analysis. The analysis models are divided into three categories: first, models for visual analysis based on information contents; second, models for analysis of functions of information visualization; third, models for analysis of types of information visualization. Each category includes five to seven criteria.
