5x4 유덴방격모형의 제1종 오류 및 검정력 연구

국문 초록

순위변환 기법의 타당성 및 응용의 폭을 확대하기 위해 열블럭의 수준수가 행블럭의 수준수 및 처리의 수준수와 동일하지 않은 특이성을 갖는 5 x 4 유덴방격모형에 따른 모수적 통계량과 순위변환된 통계량 사이의 제1종 오류율 및 검정력을 비교분석하고자 한다. 특히 요인들이 모두 고정인 경우의 고정효과에 따른 모수적 통계량 및 순위변환된 통계량간의 검정력에 미치는 영향력 분석을 중점적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 5x4 유덴방격모형에서 수정된 처리제곱합을 반영한 경우에는 처리효과를 검정하기 위한 모수적 통계량 및 순위변환된 통계량의 제1종 오류율은 명목상의 유의수준과 상당히 비슷하며, 순위변환된 통계량의 검정력은 효과구성유형, 효과크기 및 모집단분포에 상관없이 모수적 통계량의 검정력보다 전체적으로 우수함을 알 수 있다. 한편 행블럭 수준수와 열블럭 수준수가 일치하지 않는 5x4 유덴방격모형에서 추가로 수정된 행블럭제곱합을 반영하는 경우에는 모수적 통계량 및 순위변환된 통계량의 제1종 오류율은 유의수준보다 다소 높으며, 추가로 수정된 행블럭제곱합을 반영한 경우의 모수적 통계량 및 순위변환된 통계량의 검정력은 유덴방격모형의 특이성으로 인하여 수정된 행블럭제곱합을 반영하지 않은 경우의 모수적 통계량 및 순위변환된 통계량의 검정력보다 각각 다소 떨어지나 전반적으로 순위변환된 통계량의 검정력은 모수적 통계량의 검정력보다 거의 모든 상황에서 비교우위를 갖는다.

영문 초록

This research compares the type I error and power between the parametric statistic and rank transformed statistic in 5x4 Youden square design which shows different column block levels and row block levels. Especially power analysis of the parametric statistic and rank transformed statistic with fixed effects is mainly emphasized. Type I error rates of the parametric and rank transformed statistic for testing treatment effects in 5x4 Youden square design reflecting the adjusted sum of squares for treatments are very similar with the nominal significant level. Powers of the rank transformed statistic are superior to those of the parametric statistic without regard to effect composition, effect size and type of error distributions. Meanwhile type I error rates of the parametric and rank transformed statistic for testing treatment effects in 5x4 Youden square design reflecting the additional adjusted sum of squares for blocks are somewhat apart from the significant level. Respective powers are a little lower than 5x4 Youden square not reflecting the additional adjusted sum of squares for blocks. However powers of rank transformed statistic show comparative advantage than those of the parametric statistic for all cases.
