소책자를 이용한 정보제공이 개두술 환자가족의 불안, 역할스트레스 및 지식에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 소책자를 이용한 정보제공이 신경외과 일반병동에서 개두술을 시행하는 환자가족의 불안, 역할스트레스 및 지식에 미치는 효과를 파악하여 개두술 후 간호교육 프로그램의 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 시도하였다. 본 연구의 자료수집기간은 2015년 4월 1일부터 10월 30일까지였으며, 연구대상자는 B광역시에 위치한 H병원의 신경외과 일반병동 입원환자 중 개두술을 시행하는 환자가족으로 실험군 20명, 대조군 20명을 선정하였다. 개발된 소책자를 이용해 실험군에게 총 2회 교육(수술전날, 수술직후)을 실시하였다. 자료분석방법은 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, 카이제곱 검정, 대응표본 t-검정, 독립표본 t-검정으로 분석하였다. 신경외과 일반병동에서 개두술을 시행하는 환자가족에게 소책자를 이용한 정보제공은 실험군과 대조군간에 불안(t=-.841, p=.406)에는 유의한 차이가 없었고, 역할 스트레스(t=2.032, p=.049)와 지식(t=2.338, p=.025)에는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 개두술 시행 환자가족을 대상으로 간호사에 의한 체계적인 정보제공은 환자가족의 지식을 향상시켜 효율적인 간호중재가 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of information guidebook for the family caregivers of patients who were scheduled for a craniotomy. They were divided into two group : experimental group (20) and control group (20). The guidebook was made through literature review and interview with the five family caregivers to satisfy their needs. Data collection was carried out through a review of medical records and a structured questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, chi-square test, paired t-test and student t-test. The effects of information guidebook for the family caregivers of patients who were scheduled for a craniotomy was not significant in anxiety (t=-.841, p=.406), but was significant in role stress (t=2.032, p=.049) and knowledge (t=2.338, p=.025). In conclusion, it was necessary to conduct research that considers physical, psychological and spiritual factors to ease the anxiety of the patient s family and their role stress, and the systematic provision of information before and after post operate craniotomy surgery by a nurse was considered as likely to be an efficient nursing intervention in enhancing the knowledge of patients’ family members.
