청소년 자살생각 및 자살시도와 부모구성 유형, 폭력피해 경험, 거주지역과의 관련성

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년 자살생각 및 자살시도와 부모구성 유형, 폭력피해 경험, 거주지역과의 관련성을 파악하고자 수행되었다. 연구대상자는 제9차(2013년) 청소년 건강행태온라인조사에 참여한 중·고등학생 72,435명 중 양친부모, 편모, 편부 및 재혼부모와 동거하는 67,620명을 최종분석 대상으로 하였으며 자료는 다중 로지스틱 회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 남학생의 자살생각율은 12.7%, 여학생은 20.0%로 여학생이 자살생각을 많이 하였으며, 자살시도의 경우도 남학생이 2.5%, 여학생이 5.3%로 여학생에게서 높게 나타났다. 자살생각과 관련된 요인을 살펴보면, 남학생의 경우는 폭력피해 경험이 많을수록, 여학생은 양친부모에 비하여 편모, 편부 및 재혼부모와 동거할수록 자살생각을 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 자살시도와 관련된 요인은 남학생의 경우 폭력피해 경험, 여학생의 경우 부모구성 유형 및 폭력피해 경험으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 여학생을 대상으로 한 자살예방 프로그램에서는 부모구성 유형을 파악하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 폭력의 주체와 상관없이 폭력피해 경험은 부모구성 유형보다 청소년 자살생각과 자살시도에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 청소년의 자살생각 및 자살시도와 관련된 부모구성 유형과 폭력피해 경험과 같은 관련요인을 고려하여 청소년 자살예방 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는 것이 필요할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of suicide ideation and suicide attempt with parent configuration, experience of violent victimization, and area of residence in adolescents. Data for 67,620 from 2013 Korea youth risk behavior web-based survey were included. For data analysis, the complex sampling design was used. Odds ratios of suicidal problems adjusted with general factor and health risk behaviors were calculated by multiple logistic regressions analysis. The rates of suicide ideation and suicide attempt were 12.7% and 2.5% in boys, and 20.0% and 5.2% in girls. In boys, factor relating suicide ideation and suicide attempt was experience of violent victimization. In girls, factors relating suicide ideation and suicide attempt were parent configuration and experience of violent victimization. Therefore, prevention program for adolescent suicide problem should be carried out by gender, and it is advised that not only individual health behaviors, but also parent configuration and experience of violent victimization are taken into account as parts of relating factors with suicide problem.
