중국인 한국어 학습자의 사동 접미사 회피 전략 사용 양상 분석

국문 초록

본고는 중국인 학습자들을 대상으로 말하기 과제를 통해 사동 접미사를 사용해야 하는 상황에서 사동 접미사의 사용을 어떻게 회피하는지 그 전략을 파악하고, 이러한 회피 전략 양상이 학습자의 수준에 따라 어떻게 달라지는지를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 초급 6명, 중급 6명, 고급 6명의 중국인 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 본 연구에서 직접 고안한 말하기 실험을 시행하였다. 그 결과 사동 표현의 회피 양상은 메시지 포기, 메시지 축소와 같은 단순 회피 전략과 기타 문법 대체, 동일 어휘 사용, 근사어 사용, 유사음 사용, 풀어 말하기, 자기 수정 보완, 타인 수정 보완과 같은 회피의 보상 전략으로 나타났다. 학습자의 수준별로는 초급은 메시지 포기(48%), 중급은 기타 문법 대체(21%)와 자기 수정 보완(20%), 고급은 기타 문법 대체(37%)를 주된 회피 전략으로 사용하고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to find the strategy of avoiding the use of ‘Causative suffix avoidance’ in situations where the use of Causative suffix is to be used and how this avoidance strategy showed depends on the level of the learner. To this end, six beginners, six intermediate, and six advanced Chinese learners were conducted in a speaking experiment designed in this study. As a result, the learners were using simple avoidance strategies, such as message abandonment, message reduction, message confrontation, and other grammar replacements, the use of the same vocabulary, approximations, use of synonyms, speaking synonyms, complementing self-correcting, complementing others, supplementing others’ corrections. The strategies used primarily for each level of learners are as follows. Students of beginner level are mainly use ‘to give up the message strategy’(48%), the intermediate level used ‘to other grammar strategy’ (21%) and ‘the self-correcting strategy’(20%). Finally the advanced level of students used ‘to other grammar replacements strategy’(37%) most.
