구성주의 상담 접근 방식의 비예약 말하기 상담에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 D대학의 글쓰기말하기센터에서 이뤄지고 있는 구성주의 상담 접근 방식의 비예약 말하기 상담 사례를 소개하고, 새로운 형태의 말하기 상담 방법론을 확장할 수 있는 대안을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존의 말하기 상담과 구성주의 상담 접근 방식의 세부적인 차이를 비교 분석하였다. 그런 다음 2019년 5월부터 2019년 8월까지 실시한 78건의 비예약 말하기 상담 사례를 수집하고, 그중 대표 상담 사례인 체험 학습을 통한 말하기 상담, 협력 학습을 통한 말하기 상담, 해결 중심 단기 상담을 구체적으로 소개하였다. 이 방식의 말하기 상담은 센터의 기능이 단순히 교정 또는 첨삭에 머무르는 것이 아닌 다차원적인 사고가 가능한 통합적, 창의적 말하기 상담의 가능성을 엿볼 수 있었다는 점, 말하기 상담 영역을 인지적 측면에서 정의적 측면까지 확장할 수 있다는 점, 상담 교수가 내담자의 반성적 성찰을 돕는 촉진자의 역할이 강조된다는 점을 들 수 있다. 어느 방식이 더 우월하다고 할 수는 없으나, 각각의 장단점을 이해하고 상황 또는 목표에 따라 적합한 방안을 채택하거나 필요시 통합적인 시도를 수 있는 말하기 상담 방식을 고려해 볼 수 있다는 측면에서 구성주의 상담 접근 방식은 말하기 상담의 대안적인 인식론적 기초를 마련해주는 단초가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to introduce the cases of non-scheduled speech counseling of constructivism counseling approach conducted in the Writing&Speech Center of D University, and to investigate ways to expand a new form of speech counseling methodology. To this end, this study compared and analyzed detailed differences between conventional speech counseling and constructivism counseling approach. Then, this study collected 78 cases of non-scheduled speech counseling conducted from May 2019 to August 2019 and among them, this study specifically introduced representative cases of counseling as speech counseling through experience education, speech counseling through collaborative learning, and solution-focused brief counseling. Through this method of speech counseling, the function of the center did not only focus on checking or correcting errors but showed a possibility of integrative and creative speech counseling of multidimensional thinking, expanded the speech counseling section from cognitive aspect to emotive aspect, and emphasized the facilitator role of a counselor of helping with reflective self-examination of counselees. It is hard to say which method is more superior, but constructivism counseling approach will be the beginning of preparing an alternative epistemic basis of speech counseling in terms of considering a speech counseling method of understanding strengths and weaknesses of individuals, adopting a suitable method according to circumstances or goals, or of making an integrated attempt if necessary.
