발달장애성인을 위한 대학기반의 문화예술 중심 평생교육 운영에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 발달장애성인을 위한 대학기반의 문화예술 중심 평생교육 운영에 대해 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 프로그램에 참여한 발달장애성인 7명, 발달장애성인의 부모 7명, 문화예술 강사 7명, 평생교육운영진 3명 등 4집단으로 선정하였다. 이에 2019년 8월 23일부터 9월 20일에 걸쳐 면담 27회, 전화상담 17회를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 면담 시 질문지 구성은 선행연구를 토대로 연구 참여자 4집단을 구분하여 27가지 반구조화된 질문내용을 추출하였고, 면담자료는 질적 연구방법인 연속적 비교분석법으로 분석하였다. 타당도와 신뢰도를 위해 삼각측정법과 참여자 확인 기법을 사용하였다. 그 결과 평생교육을 위한 대학시설 개방의 필요성, 학령기 이후 발달장애성인의 문화예술 중심 교육 활성화, 문화예술 강사 전문성을 위한 역량강화, 발달장애성인 평생교육을 위한 기반 조성 등이 구체적으로 도출되어 발달장애성인의 평생교육의 문제점과 향후 개선되어야 할 요소들이 모색되었다. 따라서 이러한 결과는 발달장애성인이 대학의 인프라를 활용하면서 문화예술교육의 기회를 평생교육 차원에서 다양하게 접할 수 있게 되고, 이로 인해 발달장애성인이 문화예술 활동을 통해 자신의 감정을 표현하고 사람들과 소통함으로써 행복한 삶을 향유할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the lifelong education management for adults with developmental disabilities centered on culture arts. Participants were selected from four groups: 7 adults with developmental disabilities, 7 parents with developmental disabilities, 7 culture arts instructors, and 3 lifelong education staff. The data were collected from 27 interviews and 17 phone consultations from August 23, 2019 to September 20, 2019. The questionnaire was composed of 27 groups of questionnaires extracted from four groups of participants based on previous studies. Interview data were analyzed by continuous comparative analysis, a qualitative research method. For validity and reliability, triangulation and member checking were used. As a result, the necessity of opening university facilities for lifelong education, activation of culture-oriented education for adults with developmental disabilities after school age, reinforcement of competence for culture and arts instructor expertise, and creation of a foundation for lifelong education for people with developmental disabilities are identified. The problems of lifelong education for adults and the elements that need to be improved in the future have been sought. Therefore, these results suggest that the developmental disabled adults can access cultural arts education in various ways in terms of lifelong education while utilizing the infrastructure of the university. It is expected to be able to enjoy a happy life by communicating.
