박용래 시의 기법과 시적 순간

국문 초록

시 연구가 이론이나 개념 중심적으로 이루어진다면 각 개별 시의 완성도나 아름다움보다 연구자의 의도와 기획에 따라 시가 분류되어 시적 완성도와 무관한 연구가 된다. 본고는 반복과 나열의 특질을 지닌 박용래 시의 형식이 어떻게 정서에 연결되어 시적 순간을 맞이하는지 살펴보았다. 또한 그러한 순간에 사용된 어휘와 구절이 어떻게 유기적으로 결합하여 상징의 세계로 나아가는지 구체적으로 밝혀보았다. 특히 명사의 반복, 동일 통사구조의 반복, 사람이 보이지 않는 풍경과 같은 일반적 박용래 시의 외형적 특질을 모두 드러낸 <열사흘>은 부엉이 울음과 뱃고동 소리를 연결하여 아무리 애를 써도 환한 기쁨 속에서 살 수 없는 인생을 열사흘 달로 상징화하였다. <월훈>과 같은 대표적인 시도 동일 통사구문이 반복되다 ‘허방다리를 들어내면’과 같은 구문에서 순수한 공간으로의 시적 전이의 순간을 마주하게 한다. 서술어 없이 사물만 나열하거나, 풍경처럼 형상화된 시들도 <열사흘>의 세계와 ‘허방다리를 들어낸’ 세계와 같이 삶의 비애와 순수성을 지향하는 의식을 드러낸다. 박용래는 사물을 통해 이미지를 움직이면서 정서를 환기하는 순간에 시를 끝내거나, 서술어를 생략하여 주장하는 대신 사물의 본질을 환기시키며 시적순간을 맞이한다.

영문 초록

When a poetry study focuses more on a theory and a concept, it becomes an irrelevant study because the poems are categorized by researchers’ intention and plan regardless of each poem s completeness. This study searches for how Park’s poems meet its poetic moment through his poetical convention: repeat and array. In addition, this study looks at how the words and phrases used at the poetic moment are combined to create a symbolic world. In <13 days>, that contains all of the Park’s repeat and array poetic convention, Park symbolizes 13 days of moon to express an unfortunate life that cannot be lived in a bright joy regardless of effort by linking an owl’s weeping and foghorn. , also has same repetitive sentence structure and meets poetic moment of pure space at phrases such as ‘reveals the pitfall’. In poems that list objects without predicate or contain landscape imagery also reveals consciousness that aims at sorrow and purity of life same as the world in <13 days> and ‘reveals the pitfall’. Park ends his poem at the moment he arouse emotion by moving images through objects and meets poetic moment by arousing the essentials of object rather than insisting through predicate ellipsis.
