국문 초록

<음악과 인문학>은 음악과 인문학을 접목시킨 창의적 융합수업으로 음악적 요소를 인문학적 관점에서 바라보고, 음악과 인문학의 가치와 의미를 생각하며, 자아를 회복하고, 창조적인 삶의 비전을 새롭게 설계하도록 이끌어주고자 한다. 수업을 위해 두 명의 전공 교수자는 지속적인 학문 융합 논의 과정을 통해 음악과 인문학의 경계를 허물고 새로운 지식의 영역을 창조해 나가도록 시도하였다. 본 연구는 대학 교양수업에서 이루어지고 있는 <음악과 인문학> 수업 중 ‘꿈’을 테마로 3주간의 수업 설계 및 운영 사례에 대해 살펴보고, 단계적이고, 점진적이며, 체계적인 수업으로 이루어질 수 있도록 구성하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 먼저 꿈을 테마로 한 1주차 수업에서는 클래식 음악을 중심으로 감상하고, 잠 잘 때 꾸는 꿈과 상상력의 관계에 대해 살펴보았으며, 2주차 수업에서는 내가 바라는 꿈과 이상을 인문학적 관점에서 살펴보고 이와 관련된 음악 감상과 음악적 형식을 이론적으로 접근하였다. 3주차 수업에서는 ‘나의 꿈’이라는 주제를 가지고 융·복합적 심화학습을 수행하는 방식의 음악적 글쓰기 체험을 시도하였다. 이를 통해 학생들은 음악과 인문학적 성찰, 융·복합적 사고력 향상, 미적 기예로서의 교양함양, 자아성찰, 창의적 표현력 향상 등을 성취할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

‘Music and Humanities’ is a creative course that views topics in music from a humanities perspective, in addition to contemplating the value and meaning of music and the humanities, restoring the self, and renewing one’s vision of the creative life. For this course, two instructors experimented by blurring the boundary between music and the humanities and by creating a new field of knowledge through a continued discussion of cross-disciplinary learning. This study aims to examine a three-week dream-themed course, in terms of its design and administration, in the humanities course, ‘Music and Humanities’, as well as to establish a sequential and structured course. During the first week, the dream-themed lessons focused on appreciating classical music and examined the relationship between imagination and dreaming during sleep. During the second week, the class studied dreams and one s ideals from the perspective of the humanities, appreciated related music, and theoretically approached musical formats. During the third week, the class experimented with musical writing through a cross-disciplinary learning method guided by the theme of My Dream. Through this class, students were able to achieve the following: a reflection on music and the humanities, improved cross-disciplinary thinking, enhanced general knowledge of aesthetic skill, self-introspection, and improvement in creative expression.
