중학교 체육수업에서 교사와 학생이 경험하는 공감에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 중학교 체육수업에서 교사와 학생이 경험하는 공감에 관한 구체적인 사례를 바탕으로 학교 현장에서 발현되는 공감의 특징을 규명하고자 시도하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 체육교사 2명과 중학교 2학년 1개 반을 선정하여 2017년도 3월부터 8월까지 1학기 동안 진행하였다. 심층면담, 참여 관찰, 개인기록물등을 통해 자료를 수집하였고, 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 사례 기록 분석과 귀납적 범주 분석 방법을 활용하였다. 구성원 간 검토 및 다각도 접근법에 의해 자료의 진실성을 확보하였다. 이 연구에서 나타난 결과는 크게 교사와 학생이 경험하는 공감 사례와 교사와 학생이 경험하는 공감의 특징으로 구분할 수 있었다. 첫째, 교사와 학생이 경험하는 공감 사례를 살펴보면 먼저 학생이 경험하는 공감은 ‘거울신경의 마법: 본능적으로 경험’, ‘역지사지: 교사에 초점을 두는 역할 채택’, ‘타산지석: 모델링을 통한 경험’, ‘선호와 기대: 체육교과에 대한 긍정적 인식’, ‘전이 효과: 비 수업 상황에서의 전이 효과’로 범주화 할 수 있었다. 그리고 교사가 경험하는 공감은 ‘거울신경의 마 법: 본능적으로 경험’, ‘마음읽기: 경험은 가장 훌륭한 스승’, ‘사고의 전환: 학생의 관점에서 생각하기’, ‘인간적인 과정: 관심과 사랑으로 배려하기’, ‘교사 본연의 역할: 수업 개선을 통한 경험’으로 범주화 할 수 있었다. 둘째 교사와 학생이 경험하는 공감의 특징은 공감의 성격, 공감 형성의 필요조건, 공감 형성 과정 이해로 분류할 수 있었다. 먼저 공감의 성격은 공감의 기능, 공감의 방법, 공감의 행동 특성으로 구분하여 설명할 수 있었다. 그리고 공감 형성의 필요조건으로 공감 구성 요소, 공감 환경, 공감 발생 기전, 공감 행동으로 구분하여 설명할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 공감 형성과정을 이해하기 위해 공감적 관심, 공감적 이해, 공감적 행동, 지각된 공감으로 계열화하여 설명할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 교사와 학생은 다양한 방식으로 공감을 경험하고 있으며 그것은 학생들의 긍정적 의사소통과 친사회적 행동은 물론 올바른 인성 함양에 지대한 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.(삭제)

영문 초록

This study attempted to identify the characteristics of empathy expressed in the school field based on concrete examples of empathy experienced by teachers and students in middle school physical education classes. It was held for one semester from March to August 2017. The results of this study were largely divided into the empathy experiences by teachers and students and the characteristics of empathy experienced by teachers and students. First, if you look at the empathy experiences experienced by teachers and students, the empathy experienced by the student are Magic of Mirror Nerves: Instinctive Experience , Live and let life: Adoption of a role focused on teachers , By other s faults wise men correct their own: Experience through Modeling , Preference and Expectation: Positive Perception of Physical Education Subjects , ’The Transition Effect: The Transition Effect in Non-Lessonal Situations. And the empathy experienced by the teacher could be categorized as follows. ’The Magic of Mirror Nerves: Instinctive Experience’, ’Reading the Mind: Experience is the Best Teacher’, ’The Transition of Thinking: Thinking from the Student’s Perspective’, Human Process: Care with Interest and Love , ‘The Role of Teachers: Experiences through Instruction Improvement. Second, the characteristics of empathy experienced by teachers and students are as follows. The nature of empathy could be divided into the function of empathy, the method of empathy, and the behavior characteristics of empathy. And as a necessity condition of empathy formation, empathy component, empathy environment, empathy mechanism, empathy behavior were divided into explanations. Finally, to understand the process of empathy formation, i able to explain it in a series of empathic interest, empathic understanding, empathic behavior, perceived empathy.
