국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 취업스트레스가 자살생각에 미치는 영향에 대하여 자아탄력성과 우울의 매개효과를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 부산 지역 4년제 대학교(5개교)에 재학중인 남 여 학생 300명을 대상으로 취업스트레스, 자살생각, 자아탄력성, 우울 척도 검사를 실시하였다. 이 중 불성실하게 응답했다고 판단되는 설문지를 제외하고 총 274명의 자료를 결과분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 자료분석을 위해 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하였다. 연구 결과를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 취업스트레스는 자살생각에 직접효과가 없다. 둘째, 대학생의 취업스트레스는 자아탄력성을 매개로 자살생각에 간접효과가 없다. 셋째, 대학생의 취업스트레스는 우울을 매개로 자살생각에 간접효과가 있다. 넷째, 대학생의 취업스트레스와 자살생각과의 관계에서 자아탄력성과 우울이 순차적으로 매개하여 간접효과가 있다. 이러한 결과는 취업스트레스에 노출된 대학생의 경우 우울이 높을수록 자살생각에 더 많은 영향을 주며, 자아탄력성이 높을수록 우울 감소에 영향을 주므로 자아탄력성 개입의 중요성을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of self-resilience and depression on the influence of college students job-seeking stress on their suicidal ideation. For this purpose, the study tested those effects by using a research model that was set up based on prior studies and related theories. Participants of this study were 300 male and female students from 5 four-year universities located in Busan. The study made a questionnaire survey of the participants, in which some scales were used to measure their job-seeking stress, suicidal ideation, self-resilience and depression. Of the collected sheets of the questionnaire, 26 that were deemed insincerely filled-in were excluded and the remaining 274 were finally analyzed here. For data analysis, this study investigated the structural equation modeling by using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 22.0 Programs. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows. First, college students job-seeking stress doesn’t directly influence their suicidal ideation. Second, college students job-seeking stress has no indirect effect on their suicidal ideation through mediation by self-resilience. Third, college students job-seeking stress indirectly influences their suicidal ideation through mediation by depression. Fourth, self-resilience and depression sequentially mediate relationships between college students job-seeking stress and suicidal ideation. These findings indicate the higher college students having job-seeking stress are in depression, the more they are in suicidal ideation and the higher those students are in self-resilience, the less they are in suicidal ideation, suggesting the importance of interventions for self-resilience improvement.
