국문 초록

본 연구는 한국어 교육과정의 읽기 내용 성취기준을 마련하는 것을 목적으로 한 다. 이 연구에서는 한국어 읽기 교육 내용을 지원할 수 있는 이론적·실제적 준거를 마련하여 이를 바탕으로 한국어 읽기 영역의 내용 성취기준을 제안할 것이다. 교육 과정이란 한국어 학습자의 의사소통 능력 신장을 견인하고, 실제 교수-학습 방법 및 평가를 타당하게 한다. 그러나 한국어 교육은 빠른 성장으로 현장 중심의 연구가 활 발하게 이루어지면서 교육과정 차원의 논의가 부족하였다. 현재 공식적 차원의 외국 어로서의 한국어 교육과정이 마련되어 있지 않을 뿐 아니라 이를 위한 이론 기반 연 구도 미비한 실정이다. 특히 외국어 교육에서 읽기는 다른 기능의 학습을 돕고 문화 적 소양을 신장시키는 중요한 역할을 하기 때문에 한국어 교육에서 이를 체계적으 로 이끌어 줄 내용 성취기준의 마련이 시급하다. 이에 본 연구는 한국어 읽기를 지 원할 수 있는 읽기 내용 성취기준의 구성 방안을 마련하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 외국어 읽기 이론을 검토하여 외국어 읽기 국면에서 상호 작용하는 세 축을 밝히고, 각각의 하위 차원에서 외국어 읽기에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하였다. 또 국내·외 외국어 교육과정의 읽기 성취기준 분석을 통해 시사점을 얻어 한국어 교육과정의 수준별 읽기 내용 성취기준을 구성하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to develop achievement standards of Korean reading curriculum. In particular, it focuses on contents of Korean reading curriculum. purpose and necessity of this study. First of all, we reviewed theoretical background about the factors affecting foreign language reading and discussed reading component and some crucial factors. Through the theoretical review, we examined three components; text, reader, and context were selected. Then, factors in these components were identified. Text factors were selected by Bottom-up models, reader’s factors by Top-down models, and context factors by Social constructionism. Next, we analyzed reading curriculum standards for foreign language. This analysis and discussion were done to identify how reading affecting factors are reflected in foreign language reading curriculum. In addition, Korean language materials were analyzed in terms of Korean education’s experience and know-how. Finally, we established main objectives of Korean reading curriculum for basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. The achievement standards of Korean reading curriculum for 3 levels were set. It was reflection of influencing factors of foreign language and results. The results of this study can be useful for future studies. By proposing reading curriculum constitution that reflects the uniqueness of the Korean education, we expect to help in the subsequent study on Korean reading education and curriculum.
