누리과정에 기초한 유아수학교육 교사연수 프로그램 개발에 대한 유아교사의 인식 및 요구도

국문 초록

본 연구는 누리과정에 기초한 유아수학교육 교사연수 프로그램 개발에 대한 유아 교사의 인식 및 요구도를 알아봄으로써 이에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고 유아교사의 유아수학교육 교수에 대한 전문성 향상을 도모하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 연구 대상은 유치원 교사 155명과 보육교사 131명이고, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유 아수학교육에 대한 인식을 살펴본 결과, 유아수학교육에 대한 관심과 이해는 유치원 교사와 보육교사 모두 보통인 것으로 나타났으며, 실천의 어려움은 ‘교사 자신의 지 식 및 이해 부족’, 지원 사항은 ‘다양한 교사 연수’를 높게 인식하였다. 둘째, 유아수 학교육 교사연수 실태 및 요구도의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 교사연수 및 교육 참여 여 부, 교사연수의 필요 이유, 시기, 횟수, 방법에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났고, 교사연 수의 도움 예상 정도, 필요 정도, 교육시간에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 유아수학교육 교사연수 교육과정 개발 요구도를 살펴본 결과, 누리과정의 수 학활동 교수-학습 방법, 수학활동 관찰 및 평가, 수학교육에 대한 전체적인 이해, 가 족 및 지역사회와 협력한 수학활동의 순으로 높게 나타났고, 가족 및 지역사회와 협 력한 수학활동 영역에서만 유의미한 요구도 차이가 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness and needs of kindergarten teachers and daycare center teachers for the development of a teacher training program for early childhood mathematics education in accordance with the Nuri curriculum in an effort to provide information on the awareness and needs of teachers and how to enhance the professionalism of early childhood teachers in early childhood math education. The subjects in this study were 155 kindergarten teachers and 131 daycare center teachers. The findings of the study were as follows: First, as a result of analyzing their awareness of early childhood math education, both of the kindergarten teachers and the childcare teachers shows a moderate level of interest in it and had a moderate level of understanding as well. As for difficulties in that education, their own poor knowledge and understanding were widely mentioned. Regarding the necessity of support, they asked for a wide variety of teacher training. Second, as a result of analyzing the state of teacher training in early childhood math education and needs for that, there were significant differences in teacher training/education experience and in opinions on the reason for the necessity of teacher training, time, frequency and method. No significant differences were found in the degree of expected help for teacher training, the degree of necessity and time of education. Third, as a result of analyzing their needs for the development of a teacher training curriculum for early childhood math education, they called for teaching-learning methods on the math activities of the Nuri curriculum most, followed by observation and evaluation of math activities, overall understanding of math education and how to implement math activities in collaboration with families and local community. There were significant differences only in needs for the implementation of math activities in collaboration with families and local community.
