국문 초록
우주선으로부터 나오는 방사선은 지구의 대기권을 통과하여 지구에 도달한다. 인공적인 피폭과 달리 자연피폭은 고의적인 피폭이 아닌 필수불가결한 피폭에 해당한다. 우주로부터 발생되는 우주선인 자연방사선은 고도적인 원인이나 자연 환경에 따라 차이가 발생이 된다. 특히 그중에서도 고도가 높은 지역에서 거주하는 사람들 또는 고도가 높은 지역에서 일을 하는 항공관련 작업자에게는 낮은 고도 지역에 살고 있는 사람들 보다는 많은 피폭 발생이 우려된다. 이번 연구에서는 우주에서부터 발생되어진 자연방사선량을 비행기내에서 승객과 승무원이 자연방사선량에 노출량이 얼마나 되는가에 중점을 두었다. 국내 비행기 여행 중 가장 이용자가 많은 김포와 제주를 포함한 몇 곳의 국내선과 대구에서 나리타로 비행시에 승객의 입장에서 노출이 될 수 있는 유효선량을 측정하였다. 또한 더 나아가 승객의 입장에서 받을 수있는 갑상선 단일장기의 등가선량에 관한 예상치를 제시하였다. 이번 실험의 결과에 따르면 고도가 높으면 높을수록 유효선량과 등가선량이 증가하는 결과를 얻었다. 또한 갑상선의 등가선량도 고도가 높아질수록 증가하였다. 결과적으로 이번 연구를 통하여 비행시에 자연방사선에 노출이 될 수 있는 국내선승객의 고도에 따른 자연피폭선량치와 대구와 나리타간의 자연피폭선량 피폭치를 예상할 수 있다.
