국문 초록
인체에 비 침습적이고 비 파괴적인 영상 검사 중 가장 기초가 되는 검사법으로 알려진 초음파 검사는 특성상 산과 영역에서 많이 사용되는 만큼, 과도한 수치와 장시간 초음파 검사가 인체의 피부와 연부조직의 온도 변화에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고 검사 시 영향이 없는 시간을 제시하고자 성별과 젤의 온도에 변화를 주어 실험하였다. 실험은 10분 간격으로 진행되고, 실내온도 및 신체 변화에 의한 온도변화가 없다는 것을 증명하기 위하여 반대쪽 허벅지는 초음파를 조사하지 않고 10분 간격으로 실험을 진행하였다.
그 결과, 남녀 구분 없이 상온의 젤은 온도가 내려가다 증가하고, 데워진 젤은 온도가 꾸준히 증가하는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 따라서 실험을 통하여 초음파 조사시간이 평균 35분이되면 인체의 피부와 연부조직의 온도에 변화를 미치는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.
본 실험을 통하여 미국의 FDA, EU의 ECMUS에서 기기의 음향출력에 대한 한계치를 제시한것처럼 초음파 진단의 목적과 횟수 및 방법을 제시하고 불필요한 의료행위를 줄여야하며 검사자는 초음파의 생물학적 효과에 대해 연구하고 노력해야할 것이다. 또한, 체온에 영향을 받았을 가능성이 있으므로 체온에 영향을 받지 않는 방법으로도 연구할 필요성이 있다고 사료된다.
