국문 초록

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명기술 기반의 미래 대학에 대하여 국내의 원격교육, 고등교육, 평생교육 전문가의 관점을 분석한 연구이다. 이를 위하여 국내의 대학, 원격대학, 국책연구소, 교육기업 소속의 고등교육, 원격교육, 평생교육 전문가 12명을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 실시하였고, 그 결과를 일련의 과정을 통하여 질적 분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과, 전문가들이 전망하는 미래 대학은 1)기술적 측면, 2)제도적 측면, 3)교수학습적 측면으로 구분되어 논의되었으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미래 대학은 기존의 건물 중심에서 네트워크기반의 플랫폼으로 발전해 나갈 것이며 인공지능 등의 신기술의 영향을 크게 받을 것을 것이다. 둘째, 초 고령 사회와도 긴밀하게 연결되어 있는 미래 대학은 그 존립을 위하여 대학체제 및 제도를 변화시킬 필요가 있다. 셋째, 사회 및 학습자의 요구에 적합한 교수 학습법을 도입하고 대학교수의 자격과 역할에 변화를 주어야 한다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 미래대학 모형을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

This study was a qualitative research that analyzed the perspectives of experts, who are in the fields of distance education, higher education, and lifelong education, regarding the future university based on 4th industrial revolution technology. To do this, interviews were conducted on these experts from universities, national research institutes and educational enterprises, and the results had been analyzed through a series of processes. As results, future universities that experts predicted were analyzed from three different aspects as follow. First, future universities will be developed into network-based platform from the university building-based system and also will be greatly influenced by new technologies such as AI. Second, future universities, which will be also closely linked to a super-aging society need to change their system in order to be survived in the future. Third, future universities should introduce the proper teaching methods to meet the needs of society and learners and also need to change the qualification and the role of university professors. Based on these analyses results, a future university model was derived.
