국문 초록

K-콘텐츠가 세계시장에서 미치는 영향력이 막강함에도 불구하고, 유독 지역 문학관의 문화적 다양성, 디지털과 글로벌 시대적 감각, 대중친화적인 콘텐츠는 빈약한 현실이다. 현재 지역의 문학관들은 대체로 향토색을 토대로 작가의 정체성과 지역의 정체성을 일치시키는 구조를 가시화하는 것을 문학관의 주된 역할로 삼고 있다. 이는 자의적으로 작가와 지역의 정체성을 구성한다는 비판을 피할 수 없다. 로컬리즘의 한계를 보여주는 것이다. 이 연구는 지역 문학관이 지역의 홍보관과 자료기록관 역할을 탈피하여 대중친화적인 콘텐츠 프로듀싱으로 교감과 환대의 연결점이 될 것을 제안한다. ‘발견된 지역과 로컬의 과잉 숭배’에서는 지역 문학관이 로컬에 대한 강박을 넘어, 대중친화적 콘텐츠 발굴로 방향을 전환해야 함을 다룬다. 행사가 아닌 문화, 프로그램이 아닌 향유의 콘텐츠로 접근 방식의 변화를 요청한다. ‘건축적 산책과 교감의 어메니티’에서는 지역 문학관의 콘텐츠가 지역 작가와 작품 중심에서 벗어나 교감의 플랫폼이 되어야 함을 강조한다. 지역이 아닌 사람, 이성이 아닌 공감, 고립이 아닌 주변과의 공존이라는 근본적인 인식의 전환을 산책과 어메니티라는 개념으로 접근한다. ‘구체적 타자, 환대와 번역’에서는 지역 문학관이 도달해야 할 궁극의 지점을 다룬다. 초연결사회에서 지역 문학관은 독특한 서사와 맥락을 가진 구체적 타자들과 적극적으로 연결점을 만들기 위한 환대와 번역의 가치를 제시해야 한다. 이제 지역 문학관은 장소영역주의를 넘어 문화적 이동과 교류의 플랫폼 기능에 집중해야 한다. 지역 문학관이 자율적이고 상호관계 맺음과 문화 향유의 플랫폼으로 부상하게 되면 탈정치, 탈이념의 문화적 관계공동체의 형성을 기대해 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

Despite the immense influence of K-content in the global market, the cultural diversity, digital and global sensibilities, and audience-friendly content of local literary museums are relatively weak. Currently, local literary museums mainly focus on visualizing the identity of the writer and the local community based on regional characteristics. This approach inevitably faces criticism for arbitrarily constructing the identities of the writer and the local community. Local literary museums are confronting the limitations of localism. This study proposes that local literary museums should move beyond their roles as promotional and archival institutions, and instead become platforms for empathy and hospitality through the curation of audience-friendly content. ‘Discovered Regions and the Overworshiping of the Local’: Local literary museums should go beyond their local obsession and focus on discovering audience-friendly content. ‘Architectural Strolling and the Amenity of Empathy’: The content of local literary museums should shift from being writer and work-centric to becoming platforms for empathy. ‘Specific Others, Hospitality, and Translation’: Local literary museums in the hyper-connected society should actively create connections with unique narratives and contexts, embodying the values of hospitality and translation. Local literary museums should now move beyond place-based exclusivism and focus on becoming platforms for cultural mobility and exchange. If local literary museums can emerge as autonomous, mutually-related platforms for cultural enjoyment, they can foster the formation of a cultural community that transcends politics and ideology.
