국문 초록

산문시 「이런 전사(這樣的戰士)」」(1925)는 루쉰이 자신의 문제의식과 가치지향을 정면으로 드러낸 희귀한 텍스트라고 할 수 있다. 하지만 「묘비문(墓碣文)」(1925), 「그림자의 작별(影的告別)」(1924)과 더불어 『들풀(野草)』(1924-1926)에 수록된 23편 가운데 가장 난해한 시의 계열에 속하기 때문에 그 의미 파악이 여간 까다로운 것이 아니다. 물론 시가 난해하기 때문에 연구자로서 도전의 매력 또한 큰 것도 사실이다. 대부분의 독자들은 이 시를 읽은 뒤에 “이런 전사”가 도대체 어떤 전사인지 짐작하기 어렵다는 느낌을 받게 된다. 그 이유는 “이런 전사”가 우리가 알고 있는 일반적 전사의 개념에 전혀 부합되지 않기 때문일 것이다. 이 논문은 「이런 전사」가 이상한 전사, 전사 같지 않은 전사, 전사가 아닌 전사처럼 보이는 이유를 해명하고, 그 예술적, 사상적 의의를 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 삼는다. 「이런 전사」는 루쉰의 사상을 특징짓는 “시화된 철학”을 전형적으로 구현하고 있는 대표적 작품에 속한다. “시화된 철학이라는 말은 시와 사상, 형상과 개념의 고도의 융합을 가리키는 것이다. 시로 표현될 수밖에 없는 사상, 사상을 떠나서 존재할 수 없는 시, 이런 특이한 시와 사상은 그 예술적, 미학적 특징에 대한 텍스트 분석이 그대로 사상적, 철학적 의미에 대한 해석과 직결되는 놀라운 경험을 제공한다.” 따라서 필자는 「이런 전사」에 대한 텍스트 분석과 사상적 해석을 고도로 융합시키는 시도를 함으로써 기존 연구에서 간과되거나 해석하기 어려웠던 문제들에 대해 하나의 새로운 해결책을 제시해볼 것이다.

영문 초록

The prose poem “This Warrior”(這樣的戰士) can be considered a rare text in which Lu Xun directly reveals his concerns and value orientation. However, it belongs to the most enigmatic series of poems among the 23 works included in Wild Grass(野草, 1924-1926), alongside “Epitaph”(墓碣文, 1925) and “The Shadow’s Leave-Taking”(影的告別, 1924), making its meaning particularly difficult to grasp. Of course, the challenge of interpreting such a complex poem also holds great appeal for researchers. Most readers, after reading this poem, are left with a sense of uncertainty about what kind of warrior “This Warrior” truly is. The reason for this is that “This Warrior” does not at all conform to the conventional concept of a warrior as we typically understand it. This paper aims to elucidate why “This Warrior” appears to be a strange warrior, a warrior who does not seem like a warrior, or even a warrior who is not a warrior, and to explore its artistic and ideological significance. is one of the representative works that typifies Lu Xun’s thought, embodying what can be described as “poeticized philosophy”. The term “poeticized philosophy” refers to a high degree of fusion between poetry and thought, image and concept. It signifies thoughts that can only be expressed through poetry and poetry that cannot exist apart from thought. This unique blend of poetry and thought offers an astonishing experience where textual analysis of its artistic and aesthetic characteristics is directly linked to the interpretation of its ideological and philosophical meanings. Therefore, by attempting to integrate textual analysis and ideological interpretation of “This Warrior” at a high level, I aim to propose a new solution to issues that have been overlooked or difficult to interpret in existing studies.
