국문 초록

「敬語の指針(答申)」でも言及しているように、敬語の基礎的な知識は、日常生活で見聞きして習得していく実践的な敬語習得と異なり、学校教育での体系的な学習によって、より効果的に習得できるものであると述べ、学校教育における敬語教育の必要性について強調している。こうした観点から本稿では、平成20年告示と平成29年告示の『小学校学習指導要領国語科編解説』に基づいて、小学校の国語科において敬語指導に関する指導項目が各学年でどのように扱われているかを分析し、敬語指導の在り方について考察した。本稿での分析によると、小学校における敬語指導の在り方としては、相手や場に応じた言葉遣いを適切に使用することによって、人間関係を円滑にし、日常の言語生活を豊かにする、という観点から、基本的な知識を理解し、実際の場面において使い慣れるよう指導することが大事である。その際には、丁寧な言葉と普通の言葉の違いに気付くことからはじめ、徐々に言葉の使い分けに慣れることによって、最後に場に応じた適切な言葉遣いで話すことができるように、学年が上がるにつれて段階的に指導し、また反復的に繰り返しながら学習し、能力の定着を図るように指導することが重要である。

영문 초록

Although honorifics can be learned by seeing and hearing them in daily life, the basic knowledge can be acquired more effectively through a systematic study in school education. The “Guidelines for Honorifics (Report)” also emphasizes the necessity of honorific education in school education. From this perspective, this paper examines the best method for teaching honorifics using the “Elementary School Japanese Curriculum Guidelines” published in 2008 and 2017. Specifically, we analyzed how honorific education items are structured in each grade in elementary school Japanese language classes. According to the analysis in this paper, honorific education in elementary schools focuses on the purpose of smoothing interpersonal relationships and enriching daily language life by using words appropriately depending on the audience and the occasion. When honorifics are taught, students will start by noticing the difference between polite and ordinary words, gradually get used to different words, and finally be able to speak in an appropriate way depending on the occasion. In other words, it is important to teach honorifics in stages according to the grade, to teach them repeatedly, and to teach students to use honorifics appropriately.
