西鶴の好色物浮世草子における混種語の考察

국문 초록

本稿は西鶴の好色物浮世草子から混種語を検出し、品詞分布、語種の結合パターン、意味分野の分布などを調査·考察したものである。その結果をまとめると、次のようになる。 まず、混種語の品詞としては、「名詞、副詞、動詞、形容動詞、形容詞」の5品詞が用いられているが、それらのうち名詞が圧倒的に多かった。このことから、名詞は当時の混種語の主な品詞として位置づけられるようになったと考えられる。 次に、混種語がどのような語種同士で結合されているかという結合パターンを詳細に分析すると、16形式も用いられていた。中世時代の混種語には見られない外来語を構成要素としている形式が4つも採用されており、混種語の結合パターンがより多様化したということを伺い知ることができた。 最後に、混種語の大半を占める名詞を対象にして、それらはどのような意味分野の語が多いか検討してみると、それらは異なり語数·延べ語数ともに「生産物及び用具」を表す語が最も多く、「自然物及び自然現象」を表す語は、比較的少ない傾向にあるということが確認できた。

영문 초록

This paper discusses the distribution of parts of speech, patterns of word- type combinations, and meaning categories on the basis of the hybrid words in the kōshoku-mono(amorous novels), ukiyo-zōshi(浮世草子) by IHARA Saikaku. The results of the study are as follows: Firstly, in terms of parts of speech, hybrid words in “Ukiyozoushi” include nouns, adverbs, verbs, adjectival verbs, and adjectives. However, nouns are overwhelmingly the most common part of speech among them, suggesting that nouns were the primary part of speech for hybrid words during that time. Secondly, an in-depth analysis of the patterns in which these hybrid words of different types are combined reveals the use of 16 different formats. Notably, there were four formats that incorporated foreign words not seen in hybrid words from the medieval period. This indicates that the patterns of combining hybrid words became more diverse during the Edo era, incorporating new, previously unseen elements. Finally, focusing on the semantic fields of the majority of these hybrid words, I observe that words related to “products and tools” were the most common in terms of both distinct word count and total word count. In contrast, words associated with “natural objects and natural phenomena” were relatively less common. This suggests that hybrid words in “kōshoku-mono” primarily revolved around everyday objects and items, rather than natural elements or phenomena.
