국문 초록

4차 산업혁명 시대가 도래하면서 디자인 및 예술 분야에서는 디지털 미디어의 기술과 예술, 인문 사회학 등과 디자인의 결합이 세계적인 추세가 되었다. 또한 대학의 디자인 관련 교육에서도 다양한 콘텐츠를 제작하고 새로운 방법론을 적용한 교육이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 움직임은 기존 교육의 틀로는 4차 산업 혁명 시대가 요구하는 디자인 전문인력을 기르는 데 한계가 있다는 것을 인식했기 때문이다. 4차 산업혁명의 기술은 산업 간의 경계를 없애는 동시에, 각 문화 영역 간 그리고 학과 간의 경계를 없애고 있으며 이런 상황에 맞추어 디자인교육이 다양한 분야와의 융합 또한 필요해졌다. 이에 본 연구는 급변하는 이 시대가 요구하는 디자인 혁신에 주목하고, 시각디자인 분야에서의 학문적 가능성과 전문대학에 3년제 시각디자인과의 융합 교육방안을 제시하여, 다양한 매체와 급변하는 기술에 맞는 시각 디자인교육을 합리적으로 방향성을 잡기 위한 연구를 하였다. 이 연구를 토대로 사회적 요구에 따른 시각디자인 교육함으로 전문대학만의 고유한 학문영역을 마련하고 관련 교육과정의 선행이 구축되어야 할 인식에 따라 그 방향성을 제시하였다는데 본 논문의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

With the arrival of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the combination of digital media technology, art, humanities and sociology, etc. with design has become a global trend in the field of design and art. In addition, in design-related education at universities as well, various contents are produced and education applying new methodologies is being conducted. This move of trend was made because it was recognized that the existing education framework had limitations in fostering design experts required in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. The technology of the 4th industrial revolution is erasing the boundaries between industries, and at the same time eliminating the boundaries between each cultural area and department. In accordance with this situation, the convergence of design education with various fields has also become necessary. Therefore, in this study, by paying attention to the design innovation required in this rapidly changing era, and suggesting academic possibilities in the field of visual design and educational plans for the 3-year visual design department in junior colleges, research was conducted to set a reasonable direction for visual design education suitable for various media and rapidly changing technologies. The significance of this study is in that visual design education according to social needs is to be conducted to provide a unique academic area for junior colleges based on this research and that it suggested the direction according to the perception that the preceding of the related curriculum should be established.
