국문 초록

텍스타일 산업의 최신 동향으로 빼놓을 수 없는 것으로 ‘지속가능성’을 꼽을 수 있다. 산업화에 따라 환경보전을 필수 해결 과제로 인식하는 경향이 나타났으며, 다수의 산업에서 이를 수용하는 변화의 움직임이 드러나고 있다. 선진국을 필두로 생태환경의 중요성을 생각하는 가치관이 크게 향상되었고 곧 국가의 정책, 기업 및 브랜드의 마케팅 전략에도 중대한 영향을 끼쳤다. 이와 같은 사회적 움직임 속에서 텍스타일 분야 역시 지속가능한 발전을 위한 변화에 주목하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실크스크린과 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅(이하 DTP)에 대해 살펴보고, 지속가능한 발전 패러다임에 따른 변화 양상과 해당 기술들에서 관찰되는 최신기술동향을 분석하였다. 상기의 기술들은 패션 및 인테리어 분야에서 디자인 트렌드의 창출과 직결되는 필수적인 기술로, 산업 전반에서 활용되는 비중이 크다. 그에 따라 실크스크린과 DTP는 지속가능한 발전이라는 측면에서 공정개선·기술개발·신소재 도입 등 산업의 구조와 체질을 보완하는 방식으로 발전되고 있다. 실크스크린에서는 환경 친화적인 재료의 도입과 감광공정을 생략할 수 있는 새로운 방식의 기계 개발을 통해 모습이 나타났으며, DTP 기술에서는 고도화 된 기계 개발을 통한 기능성 향상 및 생산 속도 증대를 이끌었다. 또한 천연 잉크의 개발을 통한 상용화 단계에 도입하는 등 변화된 최신기술동향을 살펴봄으로써 현재 실크스크린과 DTP 산업의 현주소를 파악하였다. 이를 토대로 더 나은 지속가능한 발전 방안을 모색하고 수준 높은 차원의 텍스타일 산업 행보를 기대해 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

‘Sustainability’ stands out as a critical trend in the textile industry, especially when viewed from a broader perspective. The onset of industrialization has led to the recognition of environmental conservation as a vital challenge, with a noticeable movement towards embracing these changes evident across various sectors. Led by developed countries, there has been a significant increase in the value placed on ecological and environmental concerns, which has had a profound impact on the policies of nations, as well as the marketing strategies of companies and brands. In the midst of these societal shifts, the textile sector is also focusing on changes aimed at sustainable development. This study examines silkscreen and digital textile printing (referred to as DTP), analyzing the changes prompted by the sustainable development paradigm and the leading technological trends in the textile industry. These technologies play a significant role in the industry and are particularly recognized as essential for driving design trends in fashion and interior design. As such, silkscreen and DTP are undergoing developments aimed at improving processes, advancing technology, and incorporating new materials. In silkscreen, new methods of machine development have emerged, allowing the introduction of environmentally friendly materials and eliminating the photomechanical process. In DTP technology, the development of advanced machinery has led to enhanced functionality and increased production speed. Furthermore, examining the latest technological trends, such as the commercialization of natural inks, provides insights into the current status of the silk screen and DTP industries. Based on this assessment, the study seeks to identify more effective strategies for sustainable development and anticipates progress towards a more advanced textile industry.
