국문 초록

본 연구는 디지털 리터러시 개념과 구성 요소를 조사하고, 미술교육에서 교사의 디지털 리터러시를 제안하였다. 디지털 리터러시는 디지털 정보를 찾고 평가하고 조합하는 능력을 가리켰으나 점차 비판적 사고와 윤리를 강조하고 시민성과 참여까지를 포괄하는 개념으로 발전하였다. 문헌 연구를 바탕으로 미술교육의 관점에서 ‘디지털 텍스트 접근과 비판적 이해’, ‘디지털 콘텐츠 및 작품의 창의적 제작’, ‘디지털 콘텐츠 및 작품의 감상과 향유’, ‘디지털 윤리 및 성찰’, ‘디지털 시각적 소통과 협업적 참여’의 5가지 하위 영역을 도출하였다. 이를 위해 교사는 ‘기술적 능숙도’, ‘교육학적 적용 능력’, ‘사회적 인식과 참여’의 측면에서 디지털 리터러시 역량을 신장하여야 한다. 더불어, 디지털 시대 미술교육에서의 핵심 가치가 무엇인지에 주목하고 디지털 리터러시 교육을 통해 우리의 삶과 미술교육의 관계성에 대해 성찰할 수 있어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study reconceptualizes digital literacy from the perspective of art education and suggests teachers’ digital literacy in art education. Digital literacy has been referred to as the ability to find, evaluate, and combine digital information, but gradually developed into a concept that emphasized critical thinking ethics and encompassed citizenship and participation. Based on literature research, we derived five categories such as ‘approach to digital texts and critical understanding’, ‘aesthetic appreciation and enjoyment of digital contents and works’, ‘creative production of digital contents and artworks’, ‘digital ethics and reflection’, and ‘digital visual communication and collaborative participation’ from the perspective of art education. Teachers’ digital literacy competency can be composed in terms of ‘technical proficiency’, ‘pedagogical application ability’, and ‘social awareness and participation’. In conclusion, it is necessary for teachers to ponder what is the core value of art education in the digital age and reflect on the relationship between our lives and art education.
