국문 초록

영화에서의 이미지는 색채라는 요소에 의해 강하게 영향을 받는다. 디지털 색 보정 과정을 통해 색채를 활용하여 연출이 의도하는 주제에 맞게 정서적 분위기와 스토리를 돋보이게 할 수 있다. 이에 단편영화 제작과정 중 디지털 색 보정을 통해 색채가 가지는 이미지가 하는 역할과 어떻게 표현되는지 알아보고자 하기 위해 연구를 진행하였다. 단편영화 <정희>, <인류최후의 영화>를 통해 영화에서 색을 통해 연상시키는 이미지와 상징들은 전반적인 영화의 분위기와 내러티브를 이해하는데 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 서사 구조에 따라 색 보정의 방향을 정하고 진행하였을 때 감독이 말하고자 하는 주제나 의도를 전달하는데 큰 역할을 하는 것을 알 수 있다. 영화의 장르와 내러티브, 인물 분석을 토대로 영화의 색 이미지를 구축한다. 인물 중심의 영화와 사건 중심의 영화에서 색채가 주는 연상 이미지를 설정하고, 영화의 내러티브에 맞게 설정이 되었는지 파악한 후 색이 가지는 이미지가 감독이 얘기하는 주제에 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 한다.

영문 초록

The image in the movie is strongly influenced by the element of color. Through the digital color correction process, colors can be used to highlight the emotional atmosphere and story according to the theme intended for directing. Therefore, a study was conducted to find out the role and how the image of color plays through digital color correction during the short film production process. Through the short films and , the images and symbols reminiscent of colors in the film can help understand the overall mood and narrative of the film, and play a major role in conveying the director's theme or intention when setting the direction of color correction according to the narrative structure. It builds a color image of the movie based on the genre, narrative, and character analysis of the movie. After setting the associated image of color in character-oriented and event-oriented films, and figuring out whether it is set to fit the narrative of the film, we want to see if the image of color affects the subject of the director.
