실과 교구 기준안 개발

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 실과 수업을 위해 필요한 교구의 종류와 적정 수량의 기준안을 마련하는데 있다. 이를 해결하기 위한 연구 내용은 첫째, 각 시도 교육청의 실과 교구·설비 기준안을 비교 분석하고, 둘째, 각 출판사에서 편찬한 11종의 교과서를 비교 분석하였으며, 셋째, 교육청 비교안과 교과서 비교안을 토대로 실과 교구 기준안을 개발하는 것이다. 연구 방법으로는 교육청 실과 교구·설비 기준안은 각 시도 교육청의 홈페이지에 탑재된 자료를 비교하였고, 교과서는 출판사별로 단원별로 제시된 교구를 분석한 후 비교하였다. 그리고 두 안을 통합한 후 영역별 전문가와 현장 교사를 통해 타당성 검토를 받았다. 검토 결과를 중심으로 연구진의 협의를 거쳐 최종안을 확정하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 17개 교육청별 실과 교구·설비 기준안을 비교 분석한 결과, 17개 교육청 중 10개 교육청이 7차 교육과정 시기에 준해 개발한 기준안을 제공하고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 같은 교육과정에 준하여 기준안을 개발하였어도 교육청마다 실과 교구·설비 기준안에서 제공한 교구에서 상당한 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 10개 교육청이 7차 교육과정을 중심으로 교구 설비 기준안을 마련하였지만 교구의 수를 비교해 보면 강원의 경우 52개인데, 충북의 경우 114개로 차이가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 전국적으로 국가수준의 교육과정과 교과서에 터해 개발한 통일된 실과 교구기준안을 개발하여 보급할 필요가 있음을 보여주는 결과라고 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 교과서 분석 결과를 보면, 교과서마다 필요한 교구에 많은 차이가 나타났다. 그 차이의 원인은 첫째, 다루는 활동 내용의 차이에 따른 것이고, 둘째, 교과서에서 필요 교구를 얼마나 자세히 제시하느냐의 차이에서도 기인한 것으로 볼 수 있다. 따라서 이 연구 결과로서 제안하는 실과 교구 기준안은 교과서 개발 과정에서도 각 단원과 관련해 필요한 교구를 제시할 때 가이드로서 기여할 수 있을 것이라고 본다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to establish the guidelines on the kinds and proper amount of the teaching aids necessary for practical courses. To that end, the research: 1) compared and analyzed the guidelines on the teaching aids and equipment for practical courses of each city and provincial offices of education; ii) compared and analyzed 11 kinds of textbooks compiled by each publishing companies; and iii) developed the guidelines on the teaching aids for practical courses based on the comparison between education offices and textbooks. As to the research methods, this study compared the data on the guidelines on the teaching aids and equipment for practical courses by education office, which is posted on the websites of each city and provincial offices of education, and compared the analyzed teaching aids suggested by chapter in the textbook published by each publishing companies. After combining the two comparisons, the research received the validity reviews from the specialists of each area and the teachers. The final proposal was confirmed by the consultation of the researchers based on the review results. The research results are as follows: First, according to the comparison and analysis of the guidelines on the teaching aids and equipment for practical courses of 17 education offices, 10 out of 17 education offices have provided the guidelines developed under the 7th curriculum. In addition, there were differences in the types of the teaching aids for practical courses between educational offices, although the offices have developed the guidelines under the same curriculum. For example, the number of the types of the teaching aids was 52 in the Gangwon Province and 114 in the Chungbuk Province. This can be seen as a result showing the needs for development and distribution of the united guidelines on the teaching aids for practical courses developed based on the national-level curriculum and the textbooks. Second, the analysis on the textbooks showed many differences in the teaching aids for each textbook because of the difference between the activities suggested in the textbooks and how much in detail the necessary teaching aids were suggested in the textbooks.
