한남대학교 ‘글쓰기 상담교실’의 운영 현황과 과제

국문 초록

한남대학교에서는 학생들의 글쓰기 능력 향상을 위해 글쓰기 상담교실을 운영해왔다. 글쓰기 상담교실은 ‘글쓰기 상담을 통한 작문의 문제점을 진단하여 개선’을 목적으로 한다. 한남대학교에서는 글쓰기 지도를 위한 ‘작문연구실’이 있으나 교과관련 1학년 학생들만을 대상으로 한다. 때문에 다양한 종류의 글과 전 학년 학생 대상으로 하는 글쓰기 지도, 상담하는 ‘글쓰기 상담교실’은 의미가 있다. 글쓰기 상담교실은 온라인과 오프라인 상담을 함께 운영하고 있다. 글쓰기 상담교실에 대한 학생들의 만족도는 높은 편이며, 이용하는 학생수는 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 글쓰기의 과정을 이해시키고, 학생 스스로 글을 쓸 수 있는 과정중심의 개인 맞춤형 상담을 하고 있다여러 가지 긍정적 평가에도 불구하고 한남대학교 글쓰기 상담교실은 개선해야 하는 과제가 많다. 글쓰기 상담교실의 전문 인력의 확보, 이용의 편리함을 주기 위한 대학의 실무적 뒷받침, 표준지도안과 상담 모형 개발, 글쓰기 교과와의 협력 등이 필요하다. 한남대학교 글쓰기 상담교실은 운영기간에 비해 상담의 체계성과 안정성이 아직 미흡하다. 많은 부분을 멘토교수의 역량에 의지하고 있다. 한남대학교 학생들의 요구가 반영된 글쓰기 상담교실로의 변화를 위해 앞서 제시된 문제의 개선 방법을 찾아야 한다.

영문 초록

Hannam University has been running Writing Counseling Class to improve writing skills of the affiliated students. The class aims at examining and revising their composition through counseling. In Hannam University, there is “Writing Lab” for writing coaching, which is only targeted at freshmen. On the other hand, ‘Writing Counseling Class’ is guiding and counseling various kinds of writing for the whole students. Writing Counseling Class is managing both online and offline programs. The level of student satisfaction is quite high, and the number of the participant is continuously increasing. It offers the process-centric personalized counsel to enlighten students about the writing process and facilitate spontaneous writing. In spite of several positive assessment, there are improvement issues in Writing Counseling Class. It lacks systemicity and stability yet, and largely depends on the personal capability of the mentor professors. To meet various demands of the students of Hannam University, it is urgent to procure professional personnel, develop a standard guidance plan and counseling model, increase ease of use, and collaborate with the regular writing curriculum.
