<눈이 부시게>는 2019년, TV 드라마의 ‘여기’와 ‘지금’을 담지하고 있기 때문에, 이러한 TV 드라마의 텍스트에 대한 미학적 가치를 논의하기에 적절한 작품이다. 이 작품은 대중과 평단의 고른 호응을 받고 있는데, 이 글에서는 <눈이 부시게>의 TV 드라마 텍스트에 내재한 유의미한 몇 가지 특징에 주목하였다. <눈이 부시게>는 내러티브, 장르, 주제 등 극작술의 다양한 측면에서 대비적 요소들을 중첩함으로써 통해 의미화 구조를 효율적으로 구현하고 있다는 점 등에서 특히 주목할 만하다. 이에 대해 좀 더 세부적으로 상술하자면, 먼저 남편의 죽음, 아들의 사고와 장애에 대한 트라우마를 안고 살아온 70대 노인 혜자의 삶에 대한 진지한 주제를 중심으로 하되 진지함과 가벼움의 뉘앙스를 넘나드는 <눈이 부시게>의 내러티브를 변주에 대해 분석하고자 한다. 이어서 다양한 장르의 혼종을 특징으로 하는 이 이 작품의 장르 특질에 대해 살펴보고, 마지막으로 이 작품의 주제적 측면에서 알츠하이머를 앓는 노인이라는 분열적이고도 경계적인 주체를 통해 작품이 재현하는 의식과 무의식, 삶과 죽음의 중첩에 대해 분석해보고자 한다. 비단 TV 드라마뿐만 아니라, 대중예술의 영역에서 보편성과 특수성의 유기적인 조합이 성공적으로 이루어졌을 때, 이는 나름의 미학적인 가치이자 지향이 될 수 있다. 그런 점에서 <눈이 부시게>는 성공적인 결과물이라고 평가할 수 있을 것이다. 이 글은 이러한 <눈이 부시게>가 대비적 요소들을 중첩함으로써 통해 의미화 구조를 효율적으로 구현하고 있다는 점 등에서 유의미하다고 보았다. 중첩을 통해 경계와 구분은 해체된다. 중첩이 의미하는 겹쳐짐, 이것은 ‘나’와 ‘남’을, ‘우리’와 ‘그들’을 구분을 허무는 것이다. 그리고 그 자리에 오롯하게 남는 것은 결국 ‘나’, 이자 ‘우리’ 일 것이다. 구분과 분리가 무의미해진 상황에서 결국 남는 것은 그것일 수밖에 없기 때문이다. 그렇기 때문에 <눈이 부시게>가 갖는 중첩의 의미 구조는 이 작품의 서사 구조인 동시에 궁극적으로 이 작품의 주제이자 세계관의 구성과 형상화였다. 노년의, 혹은 현재의 나는 과거의 나와 분리되어 있는 것이 아니라 이어져 있다. 그 삶의 궤적이 중첩되어 비로소 완성됨을 보여주는 것, 이것이 <눈이 부시게>가 거듭 강조하는 지점임은 분명하다.

This article noted some of the significant features inherent in the text of the TV drama in . is particularly noteworthy in that it effectively implements a semantic structure through overlapping elements of contrast in various aspects of the play, including narratives, genres and themes. I’d like to go into more detail about this. First of all, I want to analyze the narratives of , which go beyond the nuances of seriousness and lightness, while focusing on the serious subject of the life of an elderly comet in her 70s who has lived with the trauma of her husband s death, her son s accident and disability. Next, we will take a look at the genre characteristics of this piece, which features a mix of different genres. Finally, in the theme aspect of this work, I want to analyze the consciousness, unconsciousness, life and death overlay that the work recreates through the divisive and vigilant subject of an old man suffering from Alzheimer’s. When an organic combination of universality and specificity has been successfully achieved in almost every area of popular art, it can be its own aesthetic value and orientation. In this regard, can be evaluated as a successful outcome. This article was significant in the light of the fact that these are effectively implementing a semantic structure through overlapping the contrasting elements. Boundaries and distinctions are dismantled through overlay. Overlapping, which means overlapping, is what separates ‘me’ from ‘the man’ and ‘we’ from ‘them’. And it will be me, interest and us that remain in the position. With the distinction and separation becoming meaningless, it will inevitably be that which remains.
