대학 글쓰기 교재에 대한 교수자와 학습자의 인식 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 대학 글쓰기 교과의 교재 개발 및 개편 과정을 소개하고, 글쓰기 교재에 대한 교수자와 학습자 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문 내용을 종합하여 글쓰기 교재에 대한 교수자와 학습자의 인식을 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 대학 글쓰기 교과 및 교재 개편에 대한 여러 시사점을 도출할 수 있다. 대학생 학습자를 대상으로 하는 글쓰기 교재는 여전히 그 변화의 방향을 모색하고 있으며, 교재 개편도 역시 진행 중이다. 수원대학교에서는 2015년, 2017년에 걸쳐 두 번의 교과 개편이 있었고, 이후 또 한 번의 글쓰기 교재 개편을 준비하고 있다. 이 과정에서 가장 중요하게 고려할 부분이 바로 교수자와 학습자의 반응과 요구이다. 첫째, 글쓰기 이론을 소개하되 글쓰기 실제나 다양한 사례 중심으로 교재를 구성할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 다양한 읽기 자료를 교재의 구성에 포함해야 하며, 완성된 형태의 글로 제시해야 한다. 셋째, 다양한 장르의 실용적 글쓰기를 다루되, 학생이 직접 쓴 문장이나 단락, 글을 소개해야 한다. 넷째, 글쓰기 교재의 분량은 가급적 적어야 한다. 어떤 교과목이든 교과의 목표를 완벽하게 실현할 수 있는 교재는 존재하지 않는다. 다만 대학 교육은 사회적 요구와 변화에 민감하게 반응하는 것이 필요하다. 대학 글쓰기 교과도 마찬가지일 것이다. 학교 경영의 논리나 집필진의 일방적인 기술이 아닌, 교육 내용의 가장 직접적인 수혜자인 학습자의 반응에 민감하게 대처할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to introduce the development and reorganization of textbooks in college writing subjects and to examine the responses of teachers and learners using writing textbooks. This suggests implications for the reorganization of textbooks for college writing subjects. The writing materials for university students are still looking for the direction of the change, and textbook reorganization is also in progress. At Suwon University, there have been two curriculum reforms in 2015 and 2017, and afterwards, another textbook revision is being prepared. The most important part to consider in this process is the response and demands of the instructor and the learner. First, the writing theory is introduced, but the textbook needs to be organized around writing practice or various cases. Second, a variety of reading materials should be included in the composition of the textbook and presented in a complete form. Third, it deals with practical writing in various genres, but introduces students’ written sentences, paragraphs, and writings. Fourth, the amount of writing materials should be as small as possible. There is no textbook that can fully realize the goal of the subject in any subject. However, university education needs to be sensitive to social needs and changes. The same goes for college writing. It is necessary to accept sensitively to the learner s reaction, which is the most direct beneficiary of the contents of education, not the logic of school management or the one-sided technique of the writers.
