대학 글쓰기교육의 교육목표와 평가목표의 상관성 분석

국문 초록

본 논문에서는 최근 학계에 보고된 글쓰기교육 평가 관련 학술논문을 분석하여 교육목표와 평가목표의 상관성을 다루었다. 선행논문에서 제시한 교육목표는 ① 의사소통 능력, 지식의 공유와 소통, ② 학술적 글쓰기 능력, 전공지식의 응용과 활용, 지식의 도구적 사용, ③ 학습자의 글쓰기 능력 향상과 태도 개선, ④ 문제해결능력, ⑤ 비판적·논리적 사고, 논증적 사고, ⑥ 창의적 사고와 논리적 표현 등 6가지 중점 항목으로 세분화되며, 기타 항목으로 인간으로서의 성장, 인간 형성, 구체적인 개념의 습득·원리 적용 등이 있었다. 5가지 평가목표의 중점항목은 ① 교육과정과 수업 내용을 통한 교육목표(수업목표)의 실현(타당성) 여부 점검 및 검증, ② 교수자의 교수학습평가, 교육과정 개선(교육의 질), ③ 학습자의 학습 성취정도 측정, ④ 학습자의 글쓰기 능력 향상(장단점 확인), 글쓰기 개선, 학습 활동 지원, ⑤ 학생평가의 서열화, 성적처리, 정당성 부여 등으로 도출하여 이들 항목의 의미와 특징 등을 분석하였다. 이들 중점 항목은 서로 간 일정한 포함관계를 맺고 있으며, 학교별 특성 등을 고려해 공통된 글쓰기교육목표를 마련해 나가는 것이 의미 있는 방향이라고 생각된다. 교육목표와 평가목표의 상호호환성 및 유기성을 고려하는 동시에 시대의 환경 변화에 따른 교육목표와 평가목표의 적합성에 대한 지속적인 고민이 필요하다.

영문 초록

In this paper, we analyzed the academic papers related to the evaluation of writing education in academia and discussed the relationship between educational goals and evaluation goals. The educational objectives presented in the preceding article are: ① communication ability, sharing and communication of knowledge, ② academic writing ability, application and utilization of major knowledge, tool use of knowledge, ③ improvement of learner’s writing ability and attitude improvement, ④ problem solving Ability, ⑤ critical and logical thinking, argumentative thinking, ⑥ creative thinking and logical expression. Other items included human growth, human formation, learning of concrete concepts, and application of principles. The main items of the five evaluation objectives are ① checking and verifying the realization (validity) of the educational goal (teaching objective) through the curriculum and contents, ② evaluating the teaching and learning of the teacher, ③ improve learner s writing ability (pros and cons), ④ improve writing, support learning activities, ⑤ The evaluation of the meaning and characteristics of these items were analyzed by deriving them from the ranking, grading, and justification of the student evaluation. These emphasis items have a certain inclusive relationship with each other, and it is meaningful to set common writing education goals in consideration of school characteristics. It is necessary to consider the interchangeability and organicity of educational objectives and evaluation goals and to continually think about the appropriaten the environmental changes of the times.
