『사람의 아들』에서 제기된 하느님의 정의와 인간의 정의 관계 문제에 대한 신학적 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 『사람의 아들』에서 제기하고 있는 그리스도교 신앙과 관련한 비판과 의문에 『가톨릭 교회 교리서』를 기초로 신학적 답변을 제시하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 그리하여 인간 고통과 사회 부정의 문제에 그리스도교적 전망을 긍정적으로 제시하고, 이를 통해 종교와 문학 간의 대화를 통해 교제간 융합과 발전에 도움을 주고자 한다. 『사람의 아들』은 우선 하느님의 말씀이 인간 고통과 사회 부정의 문제에 아무런 실제적인 도움을 주지 못 한다고 지적한다. 또한 전능하신 하느님이 자신의 섭리대로 다스리는 세상에 인간에게 자유의지는 존재하지 않고, 고통을 죄에 대한 하느님의 심판으로 받아들일 것을 강요한다고 비판한다. 이러한 비판에 대하여 그리스도교 신앙은 우선 악의 존재와 관련하여 하느님에게 자신의 섭리로 악에서 선을 이끌어낼 충분한 능력이 있음을 확인한다. 또한 예수 그리스도의 십자가와 부활 신비는 함께 아파하는 신적 사랑으로 고통을 직면하고, 극복할 수 있는 구체적인 도움을 제공하며, 따라서 하느님 사랑에 기초하고 있는 하느님의 전능은 인간의 자유를 보장하는 전능이라 고백한다. 결론적으로 ‘하느님의 정의’는 인간의 행복을 추구하는 ‘인간의 정의’를 포함하고, 이를 넘어 하느님 나라 완성이라는 초월적 목표를 갖고 있기에, 교회는 자신의 삶에서 ‘하느님의 정의’를 구체적으로 실천하여 살아있는 하느님을 증거해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study aims at presenting theological answers to the criticisms and questions related to the Christian faith raised in the novel, Son of Man, based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This study also aspires to positively present the Christian prospect regarding the problems of human suffering and social injustice, ultimately facilitating the interdisciplinary convergence and development through dialogue between religion and literature. Son of Man points out that the Word of God does not provide any practical help to the problems of human suffering and social injustice. It also criticizes stating that in a world where Almighty God rules with His Providence, humans do not have free will and are compelled to accept suffering as God’s judgment for sins. In response to this critique, the Christian faith, first regarding the existence of evil, affirms that God is capable of drawing good out of evil by his Providence. It confesses that the Mystery of the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ offer concrete assistance to confront and overcome suffering through the Compassionate Divine Love. The Christian faith continues to confess that God’s omnipotence, based on the Love of God, guarantees human freedom. In conclusion, the “Justice of God” includes “human justice” that pursues human happiness and has a transcendent goal of completing the Kingdom of God. Therefore, the Church must testify for the living God by concretely practicing the “Justice of God” in its own life.
