국문 초록

본 논문은 트로트 음악이 국민적 정서에 영향을 주었던 시대사적 배경과 맥락을 바탕으로 현재의 사회적 배경 속에서 트로트 음악의 사회적 가치 및 문화적 현상에 관하여 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이론적인 배경을 바탕으로 한국 트로트 음악의 개념 및 장르의 확장성을 분석하며, 현 시점을 통해 트로트 음악이 문화적 정서에 미치는 영향력 및 앞으로의 발전 가능성을 모색하고자 한다. 사례연구에서는 <미스 트롯>, <미스터 트롯> 등 프로그램을 통해 트로트의 서바이벌 리얼리티 오디션 프로그램의 차별화 및 트로트 음악의 크로스 오버를 통한 장르의 확장성을 분석한다. 결과적으로, 트로트 음악의 사회문화적 현상에 관하여 대중과의 공감대 형성 및 소통에 의한 소비 창출의 적용방안에 관하여 논하고자 한다. 수요층이 폭넓어진 트로트 시장의 현황을 분석하며, 그에 따라 나타나게 되는 양상을 구체적으로 살펴봄으로써 트로트 음악이 앞으로 대중음악을 대표할 수 있는 문화 산업으로 발전하기 위한 발전적인 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to examine the cultural phenomenon of trot music within the current social background based on the historical background and context in which trot music influenced national emotion. Based on the theoretical background, the concept of Korean trot music and the extensibility of the genre will be analyzed, and through this point of view, we intend to explore the influence of trot music on cultural emotions and the potential for future development. The case study analyzes the differentiation of Trot’s survival reality audition program through programs such as and and expands the genre through the cross-over of trot music. As a result, I would like to discuss the application of consumption creation by forming a consensus with the public and communicating about the socio-cultural phenomenon of trot music. By analyzing the current status of the trot market with a wider demand base, and examining the aspects that appear accordingly, we intend to propose a progressive way to develop trot music into a cultural industry that can represent popular music in the future.
