보건소 금연클리닉 등록자의 니코틴 의존도 및 흡연관련특성

국문 초록

본 연구는 보건소 금연클리닉을 방문한 흡연자의 니코틴 의존도 정도를 확인하고 흡연관련 특성과니코틴 의존도의 관계를 확인하기 위한 조사연구이며, 연구 대상자는 보건소 금연클리닉에 등록하여 서비스를 이용한 749명이다. 연구 결과 니코틴 의존도의 평균 점수는 5.0점이었으며, 금연시도(최근 1년간)를 한 경우는 35.8%, 금연 시도 방법은 자기의지(72.5%)와 금연보조제(16.9%)였고, 대상자의 90.8%가 중간 종결자이며, 대상자의 4주 금연 성공은 13.6%였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 니코틴 의존도에서 음주문제 유무, 금연시도 여부, 종결 형태에서 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 니코틴 의존도와 하루 평균 흡연량 간에는 유의한 정적상관이 있었고, 처음 흡연 연령 간에는 유의한 부적 상관을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구는 대상자 특성에 따른 니코틴 의존도에 차이를 보인 변인은 음주문제 유무, 금연 시도 여부, 종결 형태이며, 니코틴 의존도와 평균 흡연량 및 처음 흡연 연령간의 관계를 확인함으로써 향후 맞춤형 금연 프로그램 개발에 중요한 근거 자료의 토대가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship of nicotine dependency and related factors in smokers in smoking cessation clinics. A total of 749 smokers who have visited smoking cessation clinic by one public health center. Nicotine dependency was assessed using Fagerstrom test for nicotine dependence (FTND). Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients with SPSS/WIN 18.0. Average score of nicotine dependency was 5.01, 35.8% of subjects tried to quit smoking, methods of smoking cessation were self-will, adjuncts for smoking cessation. 90.8% of subjects were unfinished closer and subjects who succeeded in smoking cessation (4 weeks) were 13.6%. Nicotine dependency was different according to drinking problem, try for smoking cessation, type of closing. There was a positive correlation between nicotine dependency and number of cigarettes/day, negative correlation between nicotine dependency and age of first smoking. When we construct intervention program for smokers, we need to reflect on drinking problem, try for smoking cessation, type of close, number of cigarettes/day and age of first smoking.
