고령시대 ‘대응’기제로서의 다문화 논의

영문 초록

Since the mid-2000s, Korea has been rapidly transitioning to an aging society and a multicultural society. However, the advent of an aging society can be operated as a mechanism for demolishing the community, such as a decline in productivity and vitality of society. In this context, the purpose of this study is to discuss the policy and the relationship with the social integration of multiculturalism as the response mechanism of the aging society. The purpose of this study is to review the accumulated research results in sociology, law, and political science, and to conduct research in a multidisciplinary way to become a multidisciplinary research. In sociological aspect, we tried to consider the discussion about the transition from beneficiary object to the subjective object of multicultural people. In legal aspect, it was studied in the discussion that multicultural policy should make a compromise between citizenship and constitutional rights. In the political aspect, we discussed the monolithic ideology in the consideration of multiculturalism and the coexistence and symbiosis in the direction of multicultural policy. In order for multiculturalism as an integrated mechanism in Korean society, it is necessary to overcome the ideology of pure blood and to implement multicultural policies beyond the functions of population productivity. Also, the ideology of multiculturalism needs to be transformed from assimilation to multiculturalism. As in the case of Japan and Canada, we have come to the conclusion that the value of coexistence and symbiosis needs to be rooted in the community. This study presupposes a macroscopic view of the dissolution and integration of the community. Especially, this study has a meaning of a problem consciousness that has not been tried much yet in connection with this aspect and community at the time of coming to rapid transition to an aging society and a multicultural society.
