本稿は助動詞「(ら)れる」の史的変遷を記述するための基礎作業として行われるもので、助動詞「(ら)ゆ」の成立過程とその用法について検討を加えている。助動詞「(ら)ゆ」は、ゆ語尾動詞の語尾が接辞化したのち助動詞へと文法化の過程を経て成立したものである。その文法的な意味はゆ語尾動詞の意味的特徴ー動作や作用或は状態が非意志的で自然生起的ーを有している。「(ら)ゆ」の自然生起用法は否定表現と呼応して動作主体の意志に反して事態が実現しないことによる不可能の意味を表すことになる。受身用法には直接受身と間接受身とがあり、直接受身は主語(動作対象)がヒトである場合であり、たいていは表示されないのが一般的である。間接受身には自動詞による受動文でいわゆる「迷惑受身」と「持ち主受身」がある。自動詞受身は、非情の受身なので迷惑の意味は発生しない。持ち主受身は動詞の動作対象がニ格にそのまま位置するという点が特徴的である。助動詞 「(ら)ゆ」による受身構文をとおして分かることは、他の動作或は作用の影響を直接被ることであり、その影響は動作主の意志とは関係なく自ずと実現するということである。助動詞「(ら)ゆ」の可能と受身用法は、そのベースに自然生起を含んでおり、いわば{自然生起＋可能}、{自然生起＋受身}の表現になっているので、自然可能、自発的受身と名付けられる。

영문 초록

This paper is carried out as a basic work to describe the historical transition of the auxiliary verb (RA)RERU, which examines the establishing process of the auxiliary verb (RA)YU and its usage. The auxiliary verb (RA)YU is formed through the grammaticalization process after the end of a word of the -ゆ verb ending become an affix. Its grammatical meaning is semantic features of -yu ending verbs - it has an action or a state that is Naturally-occurring. The usage of Naturally-occurring of (RA)YU is non-potential because the situation is not realized against the will of the agent in response to the negative expression. Usage of passive form is broken up into direct passive and indirect passive also known as the “adversative passive”, and direct passive is when the subject is a human, but it is not usually displayed. The intransitive verb with a passive form does not incur the sense of suffering because of the ‘inanimate passive’. The characteristic of Possessive Passive is that the action object of the verb lies in the case of NI. The passive sentence of the auxiliary (RA)YU tells us that the effect of other actions directly, and the effect is realized spontaneously regardless of the agent’s will. The usage of potential and passive of auxiliary verb (RA) YU implies Naturally-occurring on the basis of it, and it is called naturally potential and voluntary passive.
