국문 초록

본 연구는 SOLE의 발전과정, 개념과 실행과정의 핵심을 분석·요약하였으며 Ted.com/Youtube.com/Google 신문기사에 제시된 총 785건의 국내외 댓글을 수집하고 이들의 논의태도, 어조 그리고 주제양상을 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, SOLE의 개념은 크게 발견기(벽속의 구멍), 탐색기(구름속의 학교와 구름 할머니), 발전기(SOLE의 탄생과 발전)로 요약되었다. 이 과정에서 아이들은 스스로 학습 활동을 조직하고 그룹 활동을 통해 교육적 목표를 달성할 수 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, SOLE은 다음 세 가지 핵심 개념을 갖고 있다. ㉠아이들이 스스로 교육과정을 조직할 때 배움이 발생하고, 교사의 역할은 그 과정이 잘 수행되도록 준비하고 물러서서 지켜보는 것이었다. ㉡ 큰 질문들로 구성된 교육적 커리큘럼이 필요하다. ㉢ SOLE 실행과정의 핵심들은 큰 질문들, 자기 발견, 공유, 자발성이다. 셋째, 태도기반, 어조기반, 주제기반으로 빈도분석을 실시한 결과를 종합해보면 일반적인 대중의 인식은 SOLE을 시대적 패러다임에 따른 미래 교육의 대안으로서 긍정적으로 지 지하고 기대한다는 의견이 지배적이었다. 태도기반으로 볼 때 SOLE을 격려하고 지지하는 댓글이 절대적이었으며 어조기반 역시 긍정적 어조가 가장 높은 빈도를 차지했다. 주제기반으로 논의양상을 분석했을 때 다빈도 논의주제는 시대적 패러다임, 호기심/동기부여, 자유로운 환경, 교사/Granny 등으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to identify the possibility of a new educational paradigm, and to recognize perception and response to SOLE. To achieve the goal of research purposes, the development process, concept, and performance process of the SOLE was summarized by analyzing with the literature related to Sugata Mitra s Hole in the wall experiment and SOLE. A total of 785 comments were collected and analyzed from Ted.com/ Youtube.com/ Google.com to discuss about attitudes, tone, and theme aspects of SOLE. The result is as follows. First of all, the development process of the SOLE can be divided into a wide range of discoveries (Hole In the Wall), exploration (School in the cloud and cloud grannies) and development(birth and development of SOLE). During the discovery process, it was able to figure out children can organize themselves and reach educational goals in a group. Second, SOLE has three core concepts. First, education occurs when children organize their own learning curriculum. Second, the role of the teacher is stand back and simply observe the learning curve after prepare the process. Third, SOLE process needs the educational curriculum that consist of huge pool of questions. The cores of the SOLE process are major question, self-discovery, and sharing of confidence with a willingness to commit. Lastly, the general public is optimistic and has hopeful expectation about SOLE as an alternative to future education. There was an absolute and supportive attitude towards encouraging and supporting SOLE, and the affirmative tone was the highest frequency. When analyzing the discussion on the topic based on themes, the most discussed topic was curiosity/motivation, free environment, teacher/grannies and the era of contemporary paradigm. Overall, SOLE has plenty of potential as an alternative to the new educational paradigm because it clearly communicates the nature and direction of the future education.
