성인의 놀이, 키덜트 문화에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 현 사회의 새로운 놀이현상인 키덜트 문화에 대한 고찰을 통해 우리 사회와 유아교육이 나아가야 할 상향적 생성의 길을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 현재 진행되고 있는 키덜트 문화의 흐름과 현주소를 파악하고, 키덜트 문화 의 새로운 생성을 위한 다시보기로써 키덜트 단어의 해체 및 재개념화를 시도하였 다. 궁극적으로는 이러한 생성의 흐름이 유아교육에 던지는 함의를 드러내었다. 긍 정과 생성의 의미에서 키덜트 문화는 어른이 되어서도 놀이를 할 수 있는 감성과 놀이의 힘의 원천으로서 유아기 놀이의 중요성을 다시금 강조하도록 하며, 전 생애 인간발달 맥락의 측면에서 유아의 놀이뿐만 아니라 성인의 놀이에도 주목하도록 한다. 또한 놀이가 유아기에만 국한되거나, 유아의 발달을 위한 수단이 아니라 사회에 활기를 부여하고 놀이공동체를 형성하는 주체로 배치될 수 있음 또한 시사한다. 따라서 키덜트 문화는 이제까지 유아의 놀이에만 초점을 맞추었던 유아교육 연구에서 놀이가 새롭게 확장될 수 있는 동인이 될 수 있을 것이며, 앞으로 유아교육에서 키덜트와 놀이에 대한 보다 다면적이고 심층적인 접근이 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to reveal the implications of kidult culture in terms of early childhood education by examining kidult culture, which is a new phenomenon of play in the present society. First, it tried to grasp the flow and current state of kidult culture, tried to disassemble and re-conceptualize the word, kidult, for the new generation of kidult culture, and to study the misunderstanding about kidult from the use of the word, kidult. Through this, this study intended to reveal the educational implications of early childhood education eventually. In the sense of positiveness and becoming, kidult culture provides a new point of discussion on play by infants in early childhood education. The importance of early childhood play is emphasized again as a power source of emotions and play so that children can enjoy play even after becoming adults, and attention is paid not only to the play of infants but also to the play of adults in the context of life-span human development. This study also suggests that play is not confined to infancy or is just a means for the development of young children, but it can be a main factor that gives vitality to society and forms the community of play. Therefore, it is expected that kidult culture will be a new extension of play in early childhood education research that focused on play of infant. In future, a more multifaceted and deeper approach to early childhood education is expected.
