국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 그림책의 글과 그림의 관계 유형에 따라 아버지의 그림책 읽어 주기 양상이 어떤지를 탐색해보는 것이다. 이를 위해 유아 4명과 아버지를 대상으로 그림책 읽어주기 과정에서 나타나는 아버지의 읽어주기 양상을 탐색하였다. 결과를 요약하면 대응관계에서는 글과 그림으로 그림책의 제목과 인물(생김새, 이름), 배경 (장소, 풍경), 사건(행동의 변화, 원인)을 연결시켰고, 방법으로 글에 있는 것을 그림 에서 확인, 설명, 확장, 그림에 있는 것을 글로 확인, 글과 그림으로 함께 설명을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 보완관계에서는 글과 그림으로 제목과 인물(이름, 생김새), 배경(장소), 사건(행동원인, 추측, 결과)을 연결시켰다. 방법으로 글을 읽고 그림을 추측하게 한 후 그림을 확인, 그림을 보고 글을 추측하게 한 후 다시 그림을 확인 하는 것으로 나타났다. 대위관계에서는 그림책의 제목과 작가, 인물(화자, 생김새), 배경 (장소), 사건(행동, 연결성, 결말)을 글과 그림으로 연결시켰다. 방법으로 글을 읽고 그림과 비교, 그림을 추측, 그림을 설명 해주는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 서사이론을 중심으로 논의한 결과 그림책읽기는 이야기 요소와 이야기의 전달 방식에 관한 것이다. 그림책의 이야기요소는 인물, 사건, 배경이며, 이야기 전달방식은 글과 그림이다. 글과 그림의 관계 유형에 따라 전달방식의 차이가 있으므로 아버지와 유아와 함께 공동으로 의미구성을 하는 과정이 중요하다는 것을 논의 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to in q uire into the aspects of fathers picturebook reading according to the types of verbal and image relationship of picturebooks. For the foregoing, this study explored aspects of fathers’ picturebook reading that are shown in the course of picturebook reading targeting four 2-year old children and their fathers. To summarize results, fathers connected title, character(appearance, name), background(place, scenery) and incident(change of behavior, cause) of picturebooks with verbal and image for their children in the corresponding relationship. Results show that fathers confirm, explain and extend verbal by the image, and confirm image by verbal, or explain both verbal and image through the method. In the complementary relationship, fathers connected title, character(name, appearance), background(place) and incident(cause of behavior, supposition, result) with verbal and image for their children, confirming image after reading and having children suppose and confirming image again after reading and having children suppose through the method. In the contrapuntal relationship, fathers connected title, author, character(narrator, appearance), background(place) and incident(behavior, connectivity, ending) of picturebooks with verbal and image. Through the method, fathers have children compare with image, suppose image or explain image after reading. Based on the above results, it was discussed about narrative theory. The story elements of picture books are characters, events, and backgrounds. There is a difference in the delivery method depending on the type of relationship between verbal and image. Therefore, it was discussed that the process of making meaning together with the father and the infant is important.
