보육실습 경험에서 나타난 실천적 지식 형성과정 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비보육교사가 보육실습을 통해 실천적 지식을 형성해가는 경험은 어떠한지 알아보고. 그경험 속에서 드러나는 실천적 지식의 의미는 무엇인지 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 보육실습을 경험한 예비보육교사를 대상으로 하였으며, 이들에게 자신의 경험을 반성적 저널로 작성하도록 하여 이를 분석의 자료로 활용하였다. 분석한 결과에 따르면, 실천적 지식형성은 막연한 두려움을 직면하면서 시작되지만 이에 굴하지 않고 자신을 중심으로 가설을 세워보기도 하고, 관계 속에서 진전시키기도 하였다. 이러한 사고의 과정에서 반성적 사고의 중심에 영유아가 있음을 확인하며 자신의 가치관을 돌아보게 되었고 계속적인 성장의 삶을 꿈꾸게 되었다. 이러한 경험을 통해 도출된 실천적 지식의 의미는 실존적존재로 거듭나게 하는 힘, 공감하는 앎으로 나아가게 하는 힘, 다원적인 관점으로 생각하게 하는 힘, 끊임없는 변화를 거치게 되는 지식으로 드러났다. 이러한 연구결과는 예비보육교사의 실습과정을 이해하는데 실질적인 도움을 줄 것이며, 보육교사 양성교육의 질 제고를 위한 기초자료로서 의의를 가질 것이다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to examine experiences forming practical knowledge through childcare practices by would-be child care teachers and to examine the meaning of practical knowledge that is exposed in those experiences. For this purpose, would-be child care teachers who experienced childcare practice were the subjects of this study. They were asked to prepare a reflective journal on their experiences, which was used as an analytic data. According to the analysis result, the formation of practical knowledge started with vague fear. Nonetheless, they did not give up, but set up hypotheses at the center of context and situation. So, practical knowledge was progressed in the relationships. It was found that infants and children were at the core of such reflective thinking in the process of thinking, and they had a dream of continual growth. The meaning of practical knowledge extracted through such experiences was demonstrated as the power to overcome ontological vagueness but to be reborn as existential being, progress of sympathetic knowledge from simple knowledge, power to think in a plural perspective and the process of continual change. This study would give practical assistance to understand the practice course of would-be child care teachers, and would play a role as basic resources in improving quality of the development of child care teachers.
