누리과정에 기초한 통합 유아음악교육 프로그램의 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 누리과정에 기초하여 음악개념과 다른 교과들의 개념을 통합한 프로그램을 개발하여 현장에 적용한 뒤 유아의 음악적인 능력과 음악적 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 인천광역시에 G구에 위치하고 있는 유아교육기관에 재원 중인 만5세반 유아 62명(실험대상30, 비교집단 32)을 연구대상으로 하였다. 실험대상 유아들에게는 12주 동안 누리과정에 기초한 통합 유아음악교육 프로그램을 제공했다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 누리과정에 기초한 통합 유아음악교육 프로그램은 유아의 전체 음악적 인지 능력과 음악적 인지 능력의 하위요인들 중 리듬의 능력을 향상시키는데 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 누리과정에 기초한 통합 유아음악교육 프로그램은 유아의 전체 음악적 표현 능력과 음악적 표현 능력의 하위요인들 중 노래 부르기, 신체 표현, 음악 만들기에서 효과가 있 었다. 셋째, 누리과정에 기초한 통합 유아음악교육 프로그램은 유아의 전체 음악적 태도와 음악적 태도의 하위요인들 개방성, 적극성, 주의집중, 표현력, 호기심과 흥미 모든 요소에서 효과가 있었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 유아기의 음악교육에 대한 강조점과 각 교과의 핵심 개념을 강조한 통합교육과 관련지어 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the effect of an integrated early childhood music education program based on Nuri-Curriculum on young children’s musical ability and the attitude toward music. The subjects consisted of 62 five-year-old children (30 children in the experiment group, 32 in the control group) enrolled in a kindergarten in Incheon. The experimental group participated in the integrated early childhood music education program based on Nuri-Curriculum for 12 weeks. The results were as follows. First, the integrated music education program was effective in developing the musical recognition ability on the whole and the rhythm, one of the subordinate musical recognition abilities. Second, the integrated music education program was effective in developing the musical expression ability on the whole. Among the subordinate musical expression abilities, capacities for singing a song, physical expression, and making a song were improved. Third, the integrated music education program based on Nuri-Curriculum was effective in developing the attitude toward music on the whole, and all sub factors of the attitude toward music, such as openness, initiative, attention concentration, expressiveness, curiosity and interest were benefited from the program. Based on the results, the research discussed the issue in relation to the emphasis of music education for children and the integrated education emphasizing the core construct of the each subject.
