고등학교 ‘미술 감상과 비평’ 과목 연계 색채 실기 교육 프로그램 개발과 효과성 분석

국문 초록

그동안 우리나라 공교육에서의 색채 영역은 미술 교과에서 감성적 접근으로, 과학 교과에서 물리적 접근으로 이론중심의 교육으로 다루어져 왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 인식한 후, 2009 및 2015 개정 교육과정의 성취기준과 연계하여 고등학교 색채 실기 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이에 대한 효과성은 2022년 10월과 11월 두 달 동안 ‘미술 감상과 비평’ 수업을 듣는 서울 D고등학교 3학년 20명을 대상으로 사전 및 사후 설문지를 통해 확인하였다. 주요 검증 문항은 색채교육에 대한 ‘인식, 이해, 태도’ 등의 총 3가지 영역으로 문항 수는 7개이다. 그 결과 색에 대한 중요성 인식은 사전 및 사후 모두 높게 나왔고(t=1.099), 색채에 대한 이해도는 수업 후에 높아 졌음을 알 수 있었다(t=5.477). 또한 색채 실기수업을 한 후 일상생활이나 다른 분야에서도 색을 활용하려는 태도가 높아졌음을 알 수 있었다(t=4.152). 이러한 결과는 평소 색채에 대한 중요성을 인식하는 학생들을 위해 다양한 실기교육 개발의 필요성을 보여준다. 최신 이론과 다양한 실기 중심의 교육이 반영된 색채교육으로의 변환이 시급한 상황에서 본 연구가 새로운 색채교육의 방향성을 제시하는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study recognized a problem about which the color education in public education of our country is being performed focusing on a theory with emphasizing the relevant sections in each of the emotional approach from the art subject and of the physical approach from the science teaching. And then, the color practical education program at high school was developed centering on the 2009 and 2015 Revised Curricula. During the two months of October and November in 2022, it applied the program targeting 20 third graders at D high school in Seoul who take the class for ‘Art Appreciation and Criticism’ and confirmed its effectiveness through the pre and post questionnaires. Key effectiveness questions include 7 items in totally 3 realms such as ‘awareness, understanding and attitude’ regarding the color education. The following are the research results according to this. First, the perception of importance on color appeared to be high in both before and after (t=1.099). The understanding about color could be known to have increased after the class (t=5.477). Finally, the attitude of trying to use color could be seen to have heightened either in daily life or in other fields after the practical training lesson (t=4.152). As the scientific technology advances, a human being’s sensitivity adjective of looking at the world is also changing rapidly. Hence, the transition to color education is urgent that is reflected the education focusing on the latest theory and diverse practical skills. These findings show the need to develop a variety of practical education for students who perceive the significance of color at ordinary times. This study is expected to be likely used as basic data that suggests the directivity of new color education at the point of time requiring this change.
