간호대학생의 셀프리더십과 의사소통능력이 인성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생의 특성과 셀프리더십, 의사소통능력이 간호대학생의 인성에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 대상자는 경남 C시의 2개 대학 간호학과에 재학 중인 간호대학생 325명으로, 자료수집은 2020년 5월부터 6월까지 설문지를 이용하여 시행하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS WIN 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, hierarchical regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 인성, 셀프리더십, 의사소통능력은 평균 5점 만점에 각각 3.93(±0.39)점, 3.74(±0.46)점, 3.60(±3.60)점이었고, 인성수준은 셀프리더십(r=.76, p<.01), 의사소통능력(r=.59, p<.01)과 정적 상관관계가 있었고, 셀프리더십과 의사소통능력(r=.45, p<.01)도 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 간호대학생의 인성에 영향을 주는 유의한 요인은 셀프리더십(β=.62, p<.001), 의사소통능력(β=.29, p<.001), 간호학과 지원동기가 자발적인 경우(β=.10, p=.009) 순으로 나타났으며, 모든 변인들의 인성에 대한 총 설명력은 66%였다(F=45.06, p<.001). 이러한 연구결과를 기반으로 간호대학생의 인성을 향상시키기 위해서는 셀프리더십과 의사소통능력을 함께 함양하는 통합적인 내용구성이 필요하다. 또한, 간호대학생의 자발적 참여 증진을 위한 다양한 교수방법이 적용된 인성교육과정 및 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate characteristic of nursing students and to identify factors influencing self-leadership and communication skills on character among undergraduate nursing students. 325 undergraduate nursing students were recruited from two nursing colleges of C city in Gyungnam. Data was collected using a self-reported questionnaire form May to June, 2020. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 22.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression. The scores of character, self-leadership and communication skills were 3.93, 3.74, and 3.60. Character correlated positively with self-leadership and communication skills. Also, self-leadership was positively correlated with communication skills. Factors influencing character among undergraduate nursing students were self-leadership(β=.62, p<.001), communication skills(β=.29, p<.001), voluntary motivation of nursing department application(β=.10, p=.009), which explained about 66% of total variance(F=45.06, p<.001). Therefore, integrative character education should be developed to enhance self-leadership and communication skills for undergraduate nursing students. Also, it is necessary to develop character curriculum and programs considering variable teaching and learning method for voluntary participation.
