국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 사회적 관계와 노인학대 간의 관련성을 규명하는 것이며, 구체적으로 사회적 관계의 구조와 기능으로 유형화한 후 학대경험 및 학대요인과의 차이에 관해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 사회적 관계의 구조와 기능을 축으로 4개 군집유형이 도출되었으며, 군집 1은 ‘고밀착-기능취약형’, 군집 2는 ‘저밀착-정서취약형’, 군집3은 ‘고밀착-기능양호형’, 군집 4는 ‘중밀착-기능보통형’으로 나타났다. 사회적 관계의 군집유형에 따라 학대 경험 및 학대요인에 있어 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 군집 1 ‘고밀착-기능취약형’이 학대 경험이 가장 많고 학대 요인에 취약하였으며, 군집 3 ‘고밀착-기능양호형’이 학대경험이 가장 적고 학대 요인에 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 노인학대 예방 및 개입에 있어 사회적 관계의 구조와 기능에 관한 충분한 고려가 필요함을 보여주고 있다. 특히 구조적으로 고밀착된 노인들에 대한 차별적 접근의 필요성과 사회적 관계의 기능의 강화를 제안한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between social network and elder abuse. To be specific, it was analyzed about difference of abuse experience and its factors after clustering by the social network structures and functions. Based on analysis, it was drawn 4 social network clusters by an axis of the structures and functions, and it was called cluster 1 ‘close contacts-vulnerable function type’, cluster 2 ‘less contacts-emotion vulnerable type’, cluster 3 ‘close contacts-good function type’, cluster 4 ‘mid contacts-mid way function type’. It was represented difference between social network, elder abuse and its factors. Cluster 1 ‘close connections-vulnerable function type’ is most elder abuse experienced and vulnerable to its factors and cluster 3 ‘close connections-good function type’ is least elder abuse experienced and good in its factors. This study was shown that should be adequate consideration regarding structures and functions of social network in elder abuse prevention and intervention. Specially, it was proposed that the need for discriminatory approach to elderly who is close connected structurally and enhancing function of social network.
