국문 초록

영화의 상업적 성공을 예측하는 것은 영화 제작자나 배급사, 극장 등 모든 주체에게 수익과 직결되는 중요한 문제로 지금껏 다양한 접근과 흥미로운 연구들이 이들 관객과 흥행요인들에 대해서 진행되어왔다. 그러나 영화 흥행에 관한 연구는 여러 물리적 환경과 흥행요인들 간의 복잡한 관계를 고려해야 하는 까다로운 영역이다. 본 연구는 한국영화흥행의 결정요인들에 대한 실증적 근거를 제공하여 일반적으로 영화흥행에 영향을 미칠 것으로 생각되는 요인이 실제로 그에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 알아보았다. 영화 흥행 결과에 미치는 영향을 밝힘으로 제작자, 배급사에서 영화흥행과 관련된 마케팅 전략을 펼칠 수 있도록 하였다.

영문 초록

Expecting industrial success in a movie is directly connected to the profit of all the subject such as the movie’s producer, distributor or theater. Since this profit is an important issue, it has been approached in various ways. Also, interesting studies about the movie’s audience and its components to get the audience’s attention have been continuously done. However, the research about the movie’s successful performance has a tough problem because it has to be consider the complex relationship between its physical environment and its components and it leads to its success. Our study analyzed not only the components but also their integrated relationship through. Moreover, we examined the actual influence of these components to its movie. Furthermore, our study, we would like to make these relationships clear so that movies’ producers or distributors can promote their marketing strategies.
