사업체조사에서의 가중치 조정방법

국문 초록

사업체조사에서 활용하는 모집단은 주로 통계청의 사업체기초통계조사의 결과를 이용하고 있다. 그러나 이조사의 결과는 표본설계시점과 실제 조사결과와는 시차가 존재한다. 이와 함께 사업체 조사에서 활용하는 설문지의 문항은 사업체의 자산, 종사자 등 담당자가 혼자 작성하기에는 어려운 부문이 있으므로 많은 무응답이 발생한다. 이 본 논문에서는 가중치 조정을 통해 무응답을 보정하는 방법을 다루도록 하겠다. 특히 종사자규모 변화에 대한 보정, 무응답 보정, 극단값 보정 등의 방법을 제시한다. 종사자규모의 변화에 대한 보정은 표본설계시 추출틀상의 종사자 규모가 실사 후에 응답사업체에 의해 다르게 응답되었을 경우에 이용하는 방법이며, 무응답 보정은 각 범주에서 응답한 사업체의 가중치를 무응답 사업체에 대해 보정해 주는 방법이다. 극단값 보정은 응답값이 극단적이기는 하나 적법한 자료인 경우에 해당 응답을 분석에서 제외시키지 않고 활용하는 경우에 해당된다. 그러나 극단값으로 인해 추정치와 추정치의 분산에 큰 영향을 미치므로 이를 보정해주는 가중치보정 방법이다. 주요용어 :

영문 초록

Most of the establishment survey frames are based on the results of the Census on basic characteristics of establishments which is conducted Korean National Statistical Office. It is important to note that survey frames are prepared before sampling design and data collection is completed. Also, designed questionnaire for establishment survey consist of difficult items such as liquid assets, active assets, number of employer which are result in lower response rate.This paper focus on the weighting adjustment methods. specially I study adjustments for reaggregation, nonresponse, outliers.Reaggregation is a reweighting process that is used when a sample unit reports differently than the way it was sampled. The weights of responding employers in a sampling cell are adjusted to account for nonrespondents, using the nonresponse adjustment factor. By definition, an outlier is a unit with an extreme data value that has been verified as legitimate data. Because the data is legitimate, there is no reason to exclude the unit; however, because the data is extreme, compared to the data of the other units in the cell, the outlier unit can have too much influence on the estimate and the variance.
