국문 초록

본 논문은 호남지역 대설예보를 위한 세 범주 대설발생예측을 다등급 로지스틱 회귀모형을 이용한 신경회로망 모형 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 역학-통계 모형기법 중 MOS(model output statistic)를 적용하였으며, 한후기(11월∼3월) 호남지역 17개 지점에 대한 관측치(강설량)와 수치모델 RDAPS(regional data assimilation and prediction system) 예보자료를 사용하였다. 세 범주는 일 신적설량이 50mm미만, 50mm∼150mm, 150mm 이상으로 구성된다. 대설예보에 적용된 신경회로망 모형은 1개의 은닉층과 4개의 은닉노드를 가지며 세 범주에 속할 확률을 출력으로 하는 구조를 적용하였다. 훈련자료와 검증자료를 이용한 모형적합 결과 각각 93.65%와 91.82%의 예보적중률을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is the development of statistical model for ternary forecast of heavy snow in Honam area using the neural networks model with multi-grade logisitc function. The MOS(model output statistic), one of the physical-statistical modeling methods, is applied. Observations of daily snowfall amounts and the RDAPS(regional data assimilation and prediction system) data at 17 stations in Honam area in cold seasons(Nov. to Mar.) are used for our study. Three categories are (daily snowfall amount is less than 50mm, 50mm∼150mm, greater than or equal to 150mm). As a forecast model, the neural networks model with 45 inputs, one hidden layer with 4 nodes and 3 outputs. As results, the correction forecast rates using the estimated model are 93.65% and 91.82% for model training and model validation, respectively.
