국문 초록

최근 많은 지방자치단체를 비롯한 공공기관은 물론 규모가 큰 민관기관에서도 삶의 질과 관련된 구성원들의 만족도 조사를 실시하고 있다. 그런데 대부분의 이러한 조사는 단체나 기관의 성과를 평가하는 것을 목적으로 하게 되어 응답자인 구성원이 속한 지자체나 기관의 특성이 구성원들의 만족도(행복도)에 어떠한 영향을 어느 정도 미치는지에 대한 정보가 중요하게 된다. 이러한 상황을 해결하기 위하여 제안된 모형이 위계적 모형(hierarchical model)이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2014 서울서베이 자료를 바탕으로 위계적 모형을 적용하여 1수준은 시민 개개인의 고유한 특성으로 그리고 2수준은 응답자가 소속된 지역인 구(gu)의 특성으로 하여 이들 변수가 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 또한 본 연구에서는 구의 특성이 현재뿐 아니라 과거의 상황도 만족도에 영향을 미치리라고 판단하여 연도별로 축적된 자료가 있는 상황에서 단일 숫자가 아닌 구간형태의 자료를 이용하여 분석 후 기존의 방법과 비교한다. 구간형태 자료가 포함된 위계적 모형의 분석은 Ahn et al.(2012)이 제안한 구간형태 자료에 회귀모형을 적용한 재표본추출(resampling) 기법을 활용한다. 서울시민의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 개인 수준의 변수로는 성별과 혼인상태, 직업형태, 학력, 연령, 소득이며 지역(구) 수준의 변수는 기초생활수급자비율과 천명당 사설학원수인 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

In recent years, many local governments have conducted surveys on the satisfaction or happiness of members. Most of these surveys are aimed at assessing the performance of institutions with investigation of the important characteristics influencing on satisfaction of members. In this situation, we have a hierarchical structure with two units in the survey and we could apply the hierarchical model in the analysis. In this study, we analyse the influence of individual and regional characteristics on satisfaction of members included in 2014 Seoul Survey data. In addition the characteristics of region are measured as interval-valued data to include the information on the past situation as well as the present situation and resampling technique is used in the data analysis. Finally we get an idea the happiness of a resident in Seoul is affected by gender, marital status, type of job, education level, age and income in the individual level and also rate of basic living security recipients and the number of private institute in the regional (gu) level.
