혼인상태별 우울 영향요인 비교

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 미혼자 집단과 기혼자 집단 별로 인구사회학적 요인, 경제적 요인, 심리적 요인이 우울에 미치는 영향을 비교하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널 9차년도 자료를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석에 사용된 통계적방법은 인구사회학적 요인, 경제적 요인, 심리적 요인과 이들 요인들의 상호작용을 설명변수로 설정한 일반선형모형을 적용하였으며 최종 모형에 선정된 변수는 우울에 대한 설명력이 큰 순서에 따라 선정하였다. 분석결과. 미혼자의 경우 자아존중감, 건강 만족도, 전반적 만족도, 성별이 유의한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 자아존중감과 우울의 관계에 있어서 성별은 조절변수 역할을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 기혼자의 경우 자아존중감, 건강 만족도, 전반적 만족도, 배우자 유무, 성별이 유의한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 미혼자의 경우와 같이 자아존중감과 우울의 관계에 있어서 성별은 조절변수 역할을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 미혼자와 기혼자의 경우 모두 자아존중감이 증가할 경우 우울 감소에 미치는 영향력이 남성보다 여성의 경우 크게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 우울과 관련한 사회복지적 개입을 할 경우에 여성과 배우자 없는 층에 대한 우선 지원의 필요성과 자아존중감 증진을 위한 개입의 필요성을 제기하였다.

영문 초록

This paper is focusing on the group comparison of the effects of demographic, economic, and psychological factors on depression depending according to marital status. The 9th wave data of Korean welfare panel study is analyzed for this study with general linear model. Demographic factors, economic factors, and psychological factor, and their interactions are selected according to the contribution to total sum of squares of depression in the general linear model. The results show that self-respect, health satisfaction, overall satisfaction, and gender are significant risk factors of depression in unmarried group, and living together with spouse indicator is an additional risk factor in married group. Gender is the mediator of the relationship between self-respect and depression for both unmarried and married groups. The decreasing effect of self-respect on depression for woman is greater than that for man in both unmarried and married groups. Interventional necessity to increase self-respect for decreasing depression are discussed and woman and married not living with spouse groups are identified as primary group to get social supports with depression program.
